Tldr; staff are super friendly, drip coffee is amazing. The vietnamese coffee here is drip-only, so you get that fantastic deep, chocolate-y flavor in every sip. Look how big those phin filters are! I've been here twice and had the house of phin signature, hanoi egg coffee and the pandan everything. The way to go here is definitely the drip drinks - the pandan flavor was good, just a little too sweet for my preference without the coffee to balance it out. Took a star off for the food. The pastries offered all looked delicious and sounded like wonderful flavors (loved that there was mango, ube, and pandan on the menu) but they are not encased and there were flies on the pastries when we looked. We did opt for a pandan waffle which is made fresh, and it was good! Flavor was there and it had a nice chewy texture, but I've had better waffles (hard to beat an egg waffle). Parking is limited and i'm not the best neighborhood, so just plan in advance. If you can swoop a street spot in front that's the way to go. But I will definitely be back! The coffee will be a weekend staple for sure.

Hung out here for a day while catching up on some work. It's a nice little shop... some bar sitting areas along the window-side of the cafe and found a place to charge up my laptop a bit. I loved the House of Phin classic! Great drink- so sweet and tasty and perfect for sipping on as the ice melts away. I also tried the pork floss bun, which tastes just as it sounds and I loved it! Reminded me of a green onion bun with that added pork floss flavor. For all of what International is like, it was a sunny and quiet day along the street which made for a nice working atmosphere. :) Friendly folks who greet everyone walking in and make some great snacks! I do wish they had a bathroom as it makes it tough for hanging around too long.

Food and drinks are unique and authentic! Don’t let is location scare you from giving this place a visit. The coffee here will slap you in the face so proceed with caution. I got the Saigon by Night which is the Black Sesame Vietnamese Coffee and I love how the hint of black sesame is still there but not too overpowering or too sweet and the Viet coffee was a nice punch in the face. Pastries here are great!!! The fresh ube waffles were crispy and the croissant pandan coconut had coconut flakes in the crispy, warm croissant! Definitely will be returning here and hopefully come on a good day when Ba Le (across the street) is open.

House of Phin is brewing up some Specialness! Enjoy Vietnamese Coffee…? You will Love House of Phin❣️ A dear friend told me about House of Phin and I went straight there! One of the first items I saw was an Ube Latte, then a Pandan (I love Pandan) Waffle. After I received my order, I didn’t get halfway down the block and straight marched right back inside to tell them how Crazy Delicious Good the Ube Latte and Pandan Waffle Is! The next week, I took my son and friend visiting from San Diego CA to House of Phin and they flipped at how good and flavorly strong and good their Vietnamese Coffee is. My son had the signature Vietnamese coffee, his friend had the Egg Crème, and I had the Coconut Vietnamese Coffee, and we shared a Ube Waffle. Lordt’, yes, with a “d”! Goodness! We were Vibed all day! Want some special goodness…. It’s in the House of Phin! Tell them...
