Cambodian Street Food — Restaurant in Oakland

Okay I usually buy my dry fried ribs in the east. They were closed. So I typed in best deu fried ribs and Cambodian street food popped up read the reviews. They were incredible. So I checked out location it was 3 minutes away driving. I arrive and parked in the streets out of the way. Ordered my dry fried ribs with mangolian beef over rice it was 32.oo more than enough. The person who took my order politely brought my order to my jeep. Got home OMG everything was delicious. I am well pleased with the service the prices and the excellent customer service that was provided for me. Oh yeah so I called to try and make an order with no answer. I see why. I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but this place really hits all the right spots for me. Being Vietnamese and trying Cambodian food for the first time, I'm absolutely thrilled to have stumbled upon this gem. The food is incredible, genuinely authentic, and not Americanized in the slightest. They don't skimp on the meat, making it one of those rare times dining out feels like a better deal than cooking at home. Usually, I find myself disappointed with South East Asian food in the US, often due to high prices or lackluster flavors, but this place is a shining exception. I heard it was good so I decided to try it for myself. It wasn’t worth it! I bought mamas chicken, dried fried ribs and shrimp fried rice (no peas and carrots). Everything was hot and fresh. Unfortunately the chicken and the ribs tasted like it was only seasoned with a little bit of salt (and I do mean a little) they both were very juicy but hella dark in color which is what happens when you fry in old grease. The shrimp fried rice was good but no big whoopty doo. Definitely not worth the $45 I spent.
