We used to stop here on the way to work and dropping my daughter off at school to pick up hot drinks (latte for my husband, chai for me, and hot chocolate for my daughter) and an occasional bagel and cream cheese for my daughter if we were really rushing. It was always an excuse to get out of the house on time "if we can get ready quickly we can stop by Lucia". Now during shelter in place, we appreciate this place even more, it is a relatively safe excuse to get out of the house and break up our routine. As we walked over there were a few cars in the line, no problem, we go to the other side of the window. A very frazzled employee then yells to us that that side isn’t open, can’t we see how many people are in line? This has nothing to do with them. As a drive through, you can order ahead, but can't run in and pick up like Peet's, so you are in the queue with those who are ordering and having their drinks made right then.
