Mi Grullense — Restaurant in Oakland

I love this place. The food was excellent and the prices were fair. For me, the salsas were all just a bit too spicy, but the Pico de Gallo was good. I've been here four times and each time everyone really cared about me.

I used to go to another place, but when I went there to watch a baseball playoff game, they were not able to figure out how to find it on their Satellite TV service.

I walked into Mi Grullense and it was not too busy. I went to the bar and asked if it would be possible to watch the baseball playoff game. The bartender said what is the number on DirecTV. I looked it up on my phone and hey-presto, they put it on for me.

Worst experience ever in my life. I've been coming to this restaurant for years. When I first moved to Oakland, I got a job in the Fruitvale Plaza and during my breaks, I would come here for lunch. The food and service is top notch. I love the authenticity and vibes to this place. They recently renovated the place and it looks a little plain, but I was told that this is just the beginning and that they will have new artwork soon.
