Showed up on Thursday afternoon- the restaurant is conveniently located on the corner of 40th & Broadway in Oakland. There's plenty of street metered parking available and I feel like you might be able to get away with parking in the lot next door at Ohgane Korean Restaurant because it is a huge parking lot. Walked in and met Alex at the counter who was so helpful in helping this vegetarian navigate the menu. (JUDGE YOURSELF-LOL). I ordered the smash burger and added an Impossible patty as my substitution. Wait time was about 15 -20 minutes...it was cooked to order which I appreciated. Alex engaged in small talk with me about his favorites on both menus which include the Breakfast Burrito, the Smash burger and the Kauliflower Nuggets. Ambiance wise- I liked that the space was spacious...plenty enough of indoor seating, brightly colored graffiti walls and miniature sized condiments on the tables. FOOD- LET'S GET TO IT! The Impossible Smash burger came with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions (yum) and sauce (which I thought was mayo). It was seasoned really well- this was my first time eating a smash burger and I loved it. It was flattened out to a nice big portioned size, seasoned well and crispy on the edges and the sauce just took it over the top. Fries were shoe string fries and just okay in my opinion. Maybe a 6/10- a little more seasoning. We were offered a combo which came with a drink which was a challenge cause I don't drink soda. But I did see an Ollipop which is touted as a pro-biotic low sugar drink and it was yummy. Overall... food and flavor I would give it a 8 out of 10 based on being a vegetarian. However, I am coming back to do a review on the Korean side of the menu including the noodles and all the awesome sides that were recommended. PRICE POINT- $10-15 CUSTOMER SERVICE 10/10 PARKING - STREET SIDE (METERED) OR PUBLIC TRANSIT AMBIENCE- FUNKY AND COOL ESPECIALLY THE KOREAN FOOD SIDE FOOD- 7/10

Look out Oakland, there's a new burger in town! I consider myself a burger connesiuer and this smash burger stands out from everything else in Oakland. The paddy is made from ground ribeye which gives the burger a really rich umami flavor. Very savory and unique, unlike anything I've had before. I ordered the double, but next time I might just order a single. It comes on nice brioche bun with pickles and grilled onions (extra for lettuce...) but the whole package delivers a nice subtle Korean twist on the American staple. friendly service, hip clean decor and nice soul music in the background. Good price. Give it a try, you'll be surprisd

If you love Korean fried chicken and juicy burgers! Then y’all need to check out their new spot in Oakland on Broadway! The very same spot as their pop-up! It’s their 3rd location in the Bay! ❤️ No need to travel to LA for their delicious food.

If you like Spicy juicy KBBQ pork, then the Ohgane Burger is for you. It’s like having KBbq, but on a burger. So good! Their tasty Impossible Burger for those who are vegetarian or vegan, and the Tteokboki with the Yang ‘Yum’ sauce was interesting and it tasted good together. The K Popcorn Chicken was juicy and crispy with the perfect spice. While the cheesy cheese curd and onion rings were so delicious! A must-order! Don’t forget their creamy milkshakes!! We will definitely...
