Pizzeria Violetta, Prescott Market Hall — Restaurant in Oakland

I'm be going there for a few months now. Pizza used to better and the service was decent when first started. The reason for the review today is our experience today which made us stop supporting this business - therefore 1 star which my way of saying I'll never support that business again.

They had a counter person who has been lazy and terrible ever since she has been working there. Today, order 3 slices and a drink for the immediate consumption and a whole pizza to go. Got a drink but she didn't put the slices in. I told here that we wanted those 3 slices now and she response was that they'll be ready of the whole pie. To make it even worse, she lectured how I should specify when I order instead of waiting - clearly she didn't listen when I ordered.

I informed that to the owner and that though I really want to support his business, I can't put up with this kind of service. He said "he got me" and then turns around talking to the girl at the counter laughing and shaking his head.

Prescott market is a cool place in general. Haven’t tried all the food there but most looked great. Pizzeria Violetta however was fantastic. If you’re a big fan of the NY style thin crust you will love this place. It can be really busy so be willing to chill out and wait. Shouldn’t be a problem as there are several places to hang out and also plenty of options for drinks. If kids aren’t your thing (no judgement). You’re going to want to grab a pizza for take out. Chicken wings were also really good and they even have dessert pizzas which are delicious. Italian sandwich was great but if you aren’t going to eat it right away then you better tell them no oil. I love grabbing a slice of Violetta at their Piedmont location before hitting up Kona Klub, so I've been very excited that they're opening a location nearer to me. I went in during their soft opening inside the Prescott Market and got a Spring Mushroom slice. It was probably my favorite I've had of theirs. I love that their menu changes but I always know there's going to be an option that will be good.

Very excited that they'll have a full bar and also frozen tiki drinks here. That will be a nice compliment to the brewery next door. There is a decent amount of seating inside, way bigger than their Piedmont location, but there's also lots of outdoor seating and central food...
