Highwire Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Oakland

Wow. Shocked and amazed. Excellent coffee, great service, and amazing location in West oakland. Part of a new food court called Prescott market. convenient parking right outside the door, although don't leave anything visible in your car or it will be stolen. I live in the neighborhood, this is not an indictment of the coffee shop, or a reality.

While I didn't enjoy any of the baked goods, they looked amazing. I will be back on the weekend for breakfast. Prescott Market seems like a fantastic entertainment and dining option. Beautifully renovated old building...

Excellent coffee. These folks know the difference between a light roast and a dark roast. I find High Wire to be straightforward in the best way.

There's no shortage of boutique coffee in the Bay Area, but it often seems like they're trying too hard and not hitting the mark. A note to fans of "Big Coffee" - if you're looking for a sugarbomb frappiattaccino, maybe go to the other place?

Way overpriced for pretty average coffee.

This is not an expensive neighborhood or a tourist destination. I don't appreciate being price gouged for a very bare bones coffee shop offering. Really quite a shame. This food hall is convenient and has good seating I would have patronized this place regularly it they had just priced themselves...
