The Burrito Shop — Restaurant in Oakland

Went there cause I wanted to try it since I was a kid...I see why I never did . worst "Mexican" spot I have tried....I ordered a grilled steak platter! Worst ever! The beans were straight out of a can and thicker then I don't know what and had zero flavor and smothered in cheddar cheese (so not authentic) to top it off the cheese did not even melt, the steak was diced up had zero flavor and more fat then anything and their rice taste like they made it with spaghetti sauce ...I should have known not to mention the cashier is rude as Hell she kept giving my son dirty looks cos he was being fussy (he has autism) I asked her to make it for dine in not even two minutes after ordering and she said "oh its already done for To go" wtf I wouldn't recommend this place to a worst enemy 20 $ for garbage ... Taco bell is more authentic then this place .NEVER again...

DO NOT DRINK WATER FROM HERE. I got a cup and had a big gulp. I don't know if they even care but water tasted disgusting. I started to cough really bad. Then I noticed all these black and yellow particles in the water. I poured it out. I really hope it doesn't get me sick.

If the water line that is being used for soda is dirty, I wouldn't drink anything from the soda machine.

I got the burrito with guacamole. Food was below average. Regardless, I ate it because I already paid for it and was starving.

Waste of money. I am not sure how this place stays in business... With horrible and probably unsafe water quality fed to customers and below mediocre food quality. Today is the 1st and last time...

This place is excellent. A decent Dine in area, location is awesome. There used to be this incredibly cute guy working the front counter...he isn't there anymore. WHERE DID HE GO? He needs to come back. Other than that, this place can make an amazing burrito. Ive gone here since I was a child. The kitchen area is open so you can see them prepare the food. The staff is courteous, and kind. I recommend this place regularly. Their Salmon Burrito is to DIE for. My go to is the Ground beef burrito. I also love their selection of Drinks'Juices. Its canned and bottled, but still its a quite unusual selection. Keep up the good work...
