I eat food and drink wine for a living. Like.. that’s my job. So when I say something is good, I’m basing my opinion on a ton of experience.
I came here for the first time around noon on a drizzly Thursday. I wasn’t sure if I’d made the right decision because there was only one other person dining at the time. I was sat, had a lovely chat with the ¿manager/owner? and ordered the fish curry combo and a vodka martini. The martini came out first. Literally perfect. Freezing, balanced, delicious. Then came the piping hot plate of curry. And I mean PIPING hot. They make everything fresh in their open kitchen so my food’s temperature was consistent until I finished. Included in the combo was a salad, rice, naan and (mahi mahi) curry. After my first bite I knew I wouldn’t need a to go box. The fish was succulent and tender and the curry was flavorful and just spicy enough to make my top lip sweaty without worrying about how things will “come out”. You know, y ppl spicy. The naan - omg. So many people fk up naan but this was fresh, buttery, and fantastic. This is the most enjoyable plate of curry I’ve had in a restaurant in a good while.
The total for my lunch was $36 all in which for the area and flavor ain’t bad at all. Definitely try Khana Peena when you...

I still love the food, when it shows up. See, this restaurant started doing delivery, which is awesome since it's one of the few Indian places that delivers and has decent food. Unfortunately, they're not as reliable as delivery service needs to be, and they don't do anything to make it up to you when the completely mess up. The last two weekend orders have taken over two hours! I get that it's a weekend, but if you're overloaded either hire more drivers or just tell customers the truth. Instead, we got told it would be about an hour, and when 75 minutes rolled by we called, and were told 15 minutes. Lather, rinse, repeat for the next 45 minutes until the delivery guy shows up and in a surly tone asks me if I'm the one who called.
[Original Review] Beautiful architecture, great outdoor seating, a stocked bar and excellent service! What more could you ask? Oh yes, food.. fresh and made to preference the food is quite good. A bit expensive but worth it. Also, the selection is slightly more interesting than the average north Indian bay...
Read moreQuality and presentation is great and the food is good. However, a great meal (especially the Indian cuisine) isn’t just about sustenance. The Ingredients and Spices are the magical tools, adding depth, warmth, and complexity to every dish transforming ordinary meal into extraordinary experiences. So with that in mind, I recommend the sizzling dishes, we had fish and prawns which were good & tasty. I was not impressed by the Chicken Tikka Masala which is my favorite dish, it was too ordinary and just dull. The Fish curry was ok. The rice is too ordinary and not what I expect for an Indian Basmati rice. Nan/Garlic-Nun are good as well as the Samosas. 3.1/2 Starts for Food. (3= Good, 4= Great, 5=...
