Unbelievably rude experience! I had just picked up my dog from the vet (where I just found out she is catastrophically ill and was literally crying). She was drugged and groggy. There’s a little triangle of turf outside this store. Its been there for years and is dirty and worn. The sidewalk was removed to put this in, mind you. So we’re walking by and my dog starts to squat. I said, “No,” and as I pulled her away, this red-faced woman comes out screaming at me, “Think! Why can’t you people think??” as she’s feverishly tapping her head. I said, “I’m sorry, I stopped her.” She continues to scream, “its for kids to play on!”. I look at the turf—its old, dirty, stained and there’s no indication that it actually belongs to the store. “Maybe you need a sign or a little fence because dogs are gonna think thats what its there for. If you’re saying “you people” (???) its happened before, right?”. She then called me stupid, I should use my brain, get my animal away from her store. Wow.
I’ve bought a couple pillows and a lamp here. There was nice guy there, not her. I once tried to buy a sofa here once, about 7 years ago. It was so painfully delayed (months), I had to cancel the order. I was gonna review then but decided not to. Its hard to do furniture retail in this day and age. So maybe that’s her problem? Get it together lady. Dogs (and cats, raccoons, possums and probably homeless people) are all gonna pee on your precious little triangle of green plastic ON THE GROUND and I would never have let my kids play on that disgusting patch of gross. Certainly wouldn’t consider ever shopping here again and I will be sure to...
Read moreI don’t review often but my mom and I happened along this furniture shop on a hot day when I was 8 months pregnant and the owner, Kania, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and just an amazing human being. We ended up sitting down on one of the couches, getting into a long, beautiful conversation and though we didn’t end up buying anything, it was a wonderful experience. Also, all the furniture and art is both stylish and comfortable. I will be back when it’s time for a new couch.
Kania also wrote the cutest children’s book that my 3 year old kid now loves. It’s called Tomato Chases Waterfalls and you can buy it in the store. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back.
We need more places like this with business owners that are friendly and rooted in the community...
Read moreReggie (owner) was so helpful, professional & punctual. I have an odd shaped living room with a cutout in the corner and he sat down with me, helped design the perfect custom couch (which NO one else would take on) and then ensured it fit & was installed perfectly! I LOVE IT! Thanks guys will...
