I’m not one to leave a message unless the service was beyond rude. I’ve come to this establishment in the early mornings, and normally had okay interactions. After 3:30p today, a woman began being rude to me. I couldn’t hear her over the the loud machine noise close to their business, and she also had an “open-mic.” For those who don’t know what that is, it’s a hot mic, meaning I can hear stuff she’s saying in the background. I wasn’t sure if she was talking to me or someone bc I saw things ringing up on the screen that I didn’t yet ask for. I waited a while and then asked for assistance.
She began getting rude and claimed that she told me to hold on. I said oh okay I didn’t hear you. She continued to be rude over the intercom which then made me think to leave. And of course when you’re about to leave all of sudden she’s ready. She took my order rudely and slammed the window or me. Keep in mind that all throughout this I didn’t get to speak to her outside of her taking my order.
She then tells me I have to move my car. That was the last straw - I first said okay, then decided to just ask “why are you being so rude?” She first pretended to not remember, then I said “when you took my order…” The lady cuts me off in rage. She had an attitude, slammed the window and started throwing up her hands (as if she wanted to fight).
This is how much I wouldn’t leave a review like this, I’d normally begin to talk myself out of it. Claiming oh maybe she’s over worked it’s the holiday, etc. etc. No, the last thing I heard during her hot-mic session was her being extremely kind to everyone else. I spent my money just like they did.
Based on this interaction, I will not be returning. Thank GOD she wasn’t the one making my drinks.
Just read the other reviews, I am clearly not the only person who have experienced this. Smh. Wow! Please shut down. This is...

Went inside & the "very honest" lady had my $7.00 set aside waiting to see if I'd come back. She was smiling when she saw me, handing me my change. Very honest, very kind. Loved it. Refreshing in this day & age. My "go to" DD!!!! UPDATED TODAY (April 30th): I noticed the last 3,4 times I went through the drive through here, they will not give me my change back if it's pennies. If my order is like $ 27. 72 , I don't get my 3cents back. Don't mean to penny pinch but I keep those pennies in my car to give to DD when my order calls for pennies. This DD in Oaklyn, NJ literally steals your money. The above deserves ed 5 stars as that lady was nice. Everyone else must be told from someone inside not to give customers their pennies back. UPDATE: Well here it is, 7 months later and the drive threw people are STILL keeping my change at Oaklyn! Why? Okay, it's pennies here then it's a nickel, today it was a dime WITH an unwanted attitude when I asked for my dime. I literally keep a very small change purse in my car FOR DUNKIN DONUTS STOPS but if I go to the Oaklyn NJ DD, they NEVER give me change. The young woman today rolled her eyes and got aggravated with me coz I asked for my dime- TWICE!!! To this date they have about .40 cents of mine, maybe more. I barely go there anymore. If I want to go to DD, I go to the one in Brooklawn NJ. The people (so far) have been terrific, and kind. AND the price is .53 cents cheaper for the exact same size coffee! BOO TO OALYN DD. No more for me....
Read moreNormally I never leave reviews, but I feel that this Dunkin’ has such poor service that it’s worth warning others about. I moved to the area recently so this is now my local Dunkin’, and it’s a shame that it is.
The food is always undercooked. I usually order from doordash, so some coldness is expected, but the breakfast sandwiches always have a completely unmelted slice of cheese, and the bread is completely untoasted and doughy. It’s so bad that I have learned to prep my toaster oven in advance so I can immediately cook my sandwich when it arrives. The hash browns are always piles of mush as well.
They have also messed up my order several times. I have called the restaurant to tell them that their menu on doordash FORCES you to choose blueberry or raspberry flavor shots if you order an iced tea. I usually just want an unflavored sweetened iced tea, so I’ve placed the order with the flavor shots before, and called the restaurant to tell them I DON’T want the flavor shots, and they STILL mess it up. I have stopped ordering iced teas altogether at this point.
I’ve also had other incorrect orders and I’ve only lived here for a few months. Whenever I complain to the staff they pretend to be receptive but nothing changes. Calling to tell them they made a mistake usually results in them getting short with you and providing no help in fixing anything.
The only decent thing worth mentioning is that the doughnuts are usually fine. They’re fresh enough and they’re not so gooey that the icing comes off in the bag. Other than that though, the service and hot food preparation is abysmal. I’ve dealt with some poor service at Dunkin’s before, but this one is...
