Went there Saturday night looking to have a good time took my daughter my wife and my future son-in-law. Haven’t been to this place in a very very long time heard good and bad things about it. I went to school with one of the original owners Nick. I know it’s changed owners a while back probably a couple times. Went there to have a nice dinner. Waitress started off I asked for a Coke she serve me a Pepsi never said anything but I seen her take it from the machine. No big deal ordered a Manor Bar cheesesteak with mozzarella cheese. Start eating it found that it was American cheese. Explained to waitress that it’s American cheese , she saw the cook cut the fresh mozzarella. He may have cut it but he didn’t put it on my sandwich and as I explained it to her I even showed her there is no stretchy cheese it was American cheese she argued with me I told her to take the cheesesteak back I didn’t want it I don’t want anything else. Ended up they took the cheesesteak off the bill and Two sodas off the bill. Didn’t ask him to do that the cheesesteak yes not the sodas which was admirable. Another waitress came over and apologize for the inconvenience and want to know if I want anything else I explain to her no. It’s a shame I was looking forward to a nice evening and I will not go back there the fries with the cheese whiz were OK it’s just that the cheese got cold real fast as I said my son-in-law enjoyed his roast beef sandwich my daughter only ate half of her sandwich my wife enjoyed hers. I still left the full tip my daughter looked at me like I was crazy. But that’s just the way I am sorry it didn’t work out manor bar would love to make It my...
Read moreWe've lived in the area for a while, have to be honest...under the previous management The Manor left a little to be desired for me personally.
Recently went back following a remodel to the outdoor deck bar for lunch and was impressed. Larger bar, more televisions, attentive and knowledge, friendly staff was enough to convince me to come back the following week. As someone that appreciates elevated bar food, craft beer and a fun, friendly bar staff this has become mine and my wife's go-to bar/restaurant.
Always something new on tap to try for craft beer lovers. Extended bar seating, sports on TV etc and accommodating bartender, matched with affordable and distinctive food options that are familiar, comfortable but feel closer to fine dining than a usual fried food dive bar. You can tell the kitchen staff is experienced and cares about the product.
A good mixed crowd, with young and old alike...you can tell everyone is from the area and loves Philly sports and makes this hometown bar a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy an evening with old friends and make new ones.
I've seen my share of bars, this is a local gem that appreciates their history and the locals. Highly...

Go for the true challenge with a side of freshly made fries. An absolute must is their bucket drink Mine was the Arnold Palmer lemonade/ice tea/rum; wife had their Margarita Bucket. Just enough ice with plenty of good ol' alcohol. Sure, the Big Eagle is a serious meal, not for beginners, but assembled with precision and tasted exceptional. Take your time and enjoy.
Ask for Chef Ron, Big Eagle Burger creator and their exceptional kitchen master. Wife had the Whiskey Bacon Burger, a full sized burger with a healthy add of crispy bacon, topped with generous BBQ dressing. Both meals --- a multiple napkin experience!
Oaklyn Manor goes back to the days of local dining with a neighborhood drinking saloon. You will be welcomed. We were in the area for the township craft show and this place caught our eye for its casual, 'we are who we are', appeal. ABSOLUTELY worth the drive from anywhere. Good food from...
