Clandestino — Restaurant in Oakton

Was really happy to stumble across this place, yes it’s in a busy gas station, but it’s kept very clean and the food was excellent. Northern Virginia does not have ample options when it comes to Colombian food so finding Clandestino was awesome to allow my wife to experience a taste of home. Service was excellent the chef came out many times to check on us, and even offered us free buñuelos.

We got the Colombian Hotdog, Patacones, and Maracuja Juice and they were all excellent, lunch here will soon become a Sunday tradition for us.

This food truck has incredible Colombian inspired street food. Their hot dogs and burgers far exceed the common American idea of what a hot dog or burger is. The owner is very personable and comes out to meet people when there is time. Parking is a bit challenging since the truck is located at the gas station but there are small parking lots not too far away. Great spot if you want...
