From the moment we were greeted at the door held open for us, Ichiro Ramen provided an excellent experience! The service was stellar- we were taken care of right away by our friendly waiter who possessed a thorough knowledge of the menu. Our appetizer of Gyoza Shrimp was the perfect beginning- succulent on one side and crispy crunchy on the other. The soy onion dipping sauce provided the perfect compliment. Our entrees included the Angel Fire Bowl, a spicy combination of salmon and tuna poke, jalapeno, sweet onion, edamame, massago, and avocado, with poke & sriracha chili sauce. We also ordered the Hibachi Scallops- seared scallops with mixed vegetables, rice and a tasty sauce- and a huge bowl of Beef Ramen with an unctuous broth, perfect for a rainy, cool day. We ate at Ichiro Ramen twice in 3 days, leaving each time with generous leftovers and a desire that one of us did not live out of state! A terrific discovery in a strip mall, one that will be repeated many times in...

Read moreIt's clean and restaurant style. The service was attentive and welcomed. Had roughly 20 percent capacity, but I was in at 9pm. I had the shoyu ramen. The egg was good and it tasted like the marinade kind. Little odd to only get one half of the egg. The chashu pork was a bit tough and chewy compared to other ramen I've had around here, but the flavor was there. The noodles were a good texture, nice and has a little chewy texture. Broth is average. I did like that the temp of the ramen was hot but comfortable enough that I didn't feel like I was burning my mouth or needed to blow at all. Normally the ramen is burn your mouth hot, so that was nice. I might come back if I get in a mood for ramen, but I don't think I'll go out of my way for it. But I'd recommend trying it at least. It's the only ramen near this area so I'd like to see it stay and I wish them the...
