Ordered a dozen donuts and three burritos (two sausage, one bacon) to split amongst households.
Donuts - 4 of the 12 donuts were different than the ones I requested. I didn’t think to check the box before leaving since I listed them off one at a time and the person appeared to be in the general area of the donut being asked for. Have never had to do so before anywhere else, so it didn’t occur to me to check the box or watch them closely (especially as I was looking for what else to add while they were putting them in the box). 3 of the 4 were donuts I never order and the last 1 was a duplicate/extra of a single donut I had requested. The donuts haven’t been finished yet, but, from what I’ve been told, the general consensus is that they are okay-good, depending on the donut.
Burritos - From what I saw and/or was told (because burritos went to different households), each burrito was bacon. Only one was supposed to be bacon and the other two were supposed to be sausage. The burritos were smaller than expected and at least two of them had barely any egg and were primarily filled with potato. The burritos took longer than expected to be made, considering the contents. Several people ordered after me and got their sandwiches, etc, before me (even though they were generally comprised of the same ingredients and seemed to be made to order as well), with me still waiting several minutes after everyone else left what had been a full store when I placed my order. The burritos were cooked pretty well. Only a small piece of potato was undercooked/raw that was noted, which was negligible. There were no black pieces or debris in it, which was a positive that seems increasingly rare from other establishments. To me, the absence of such black pieces signifies they clean their grill or cookware decently well. The overall consensus regarding the taste of the burritos is that they tasted good for what they were, but could have been better with a better ratio of ingredients and having the correct meat. Whether the wait and price point are worth it, however, is generally felt to be “no.”
I drove over 30 minutes to try an establishment that wasn’t Dunkin and, unfortunately, I don’t think it was...
Read moreLet me just say, WOW. I'm kind of irritated that I hadn't tried this place before. Prior to yesterday, there were exactly two places that I could say had the best donuts: one in NC and one in IN. Over the years I'd all but given up on finding good donuts. Yesterday I decided to try this place out. The man that was working was fantastic. They had my business before I ever tasted the donuts! Friendly, helpful, patient (I'm indecisive) and just fantastic all-around. I got a dozen random donuts, went home and ate more than I should have. I'm so glad to have found a donut shop in-state! We tried the twisty rope things, the donuts with chocolate chips on top, the bear claw, the chocolate topped regular, glazed, and so on. I was not disappointed with any of them. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much Danny's Donuts for giving me hope in...
Read moreHands down the best donuts I have ever eaten! I especially love their Maple Bacon Donuts! These donuts are nearly twice the size, fluffy, delicious and leave you feeling the love put into them. I went around 3pm and it was still so fresh and delicious, but the earlier the better for more variety naturally! Everyone who works there is always patient and kind and I will forever support their business, thank you for your hard work and quality donuts!
I will never visit Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts again after having these. I went to Drunkin quite recently and the quality isn't there at all, they are much smaller and didn't have Maple Bacon so it was...
