I went through the drive through with no customers in the store and no customers in line. I arrived 30 minutes after they opened. The woman over the intercom sounded like she hated her job and hated that I was ordering food. When I got to the window she asked me to pull up because the food would take 5-6 minutes. I did and waited 10-12 minutes before I went inside to see what the hold up was. When I waited at the counter the only employee that was customer facing was refilling ketuchup packs when I asked what was going on with my order. She said it wasn't ready and would take 5-6 more minutes while walking away and mumbling. I had to ask her to repeat herself. I told her I was on a time crunch and needed her to just put whatever they have available as my chicken. At this point, it will have been 18 minutes before getting my food, which is longer than if I sat down at a nice restaurant. The employee had little to no eye contact and didn't show any kind of attention or urgency. She would answer my questions as she dissappeared behind the wall. Mind you, there was no customers in the store or drive through and she was lethargically refilling ketchup. Once she finally got my food she was talking to other employees and slowly trying to bag my food as she is dropping the utensils meant for my order and taking her time when I told her I need to go several minutes before. There is no respect for customers. There are plenty of other places in town like Missions BBQ, Tropical Smoothie, Chickfila, and Steak and Shake that NEVER FAIL to treat their customers with respect and kindess. And after all of that, they got my order wrong too. I will not be coming back here or any Popeyes because clearly management doesn't care either. I have read through others reviews and no change has...
Read moreOn Tues morning, January 19th @ 11am - we visited this location on our way back home from vacation, specifically because "Dine In" was an option on Google maps. In fact, we passed by other locations because dine in wasn't an option.
Upon arrival, there was a group of 3 men in front of us, who also thought they could dine in until the manager rudely screamed at them that the dining room was closed. Not to mention fussing & hollering & taking crazy to her staff in front of customers! #Rude is an understatement.
The young man who helped us was very kind & accommodating. He even insisted we had fresh food, rather than the manager trying to give us what had been sitting around... and she fussed at him for that! Although he couldn't change the fact, he listened to & understood our frustrations about visiting specifically so we could "dine in", but being denied that opportunity. He made sure that we had the condiments & everything we needed. I made sure to ask his name, because he's what made the experience tolerable... Diron (I'm sure I'm misspelling it)
The manager, on the other hand, needs lessons in customer service & managing people. She's a liability & a lawsuit waiting to happen! #HostileWorkEnvironment
Might I also suggest updating Google maps if "dine in" continues to NOT be an options. People rely on that when traveling & choosing places to eat, especially when traveling with kids & not wanting to eat in...
Read moreAvoid this Popeyes at all cost. I was in town visiting a friend & when done, call my wife to see if she wants me to bring her something to eat. She said how about the new wings at Popeyes. I Googled Popeyes & see 2 locations are closed. The only one open is on Silver Springs Blvd.
As I pull in, I see people going in & out of the inside dining area. I see cars going through the drive thru. I park so I can call my wife to get her exact order. While on the phone, this big, black woman is handing food out the window and proceeds to give me a very dirty look. I back out to circle the building to enter drive through, still getting that 'look.'
I pull up to the speaker and I'm told they aren't taking new orders because they are in the middle of a shift change..... at 4:15 p.m. on a Saturday. I ask when will they be taking new orders. "I don't know." she replied.
I pull out & park to call my wife to say, "You're not going to believe this..." As I continue talking to her, cars in the drive-thru get their orders taken & food handed out the window. Others go inside and place their orders.
I just leave it here. I am white, the rest of the customers were black. She refused to serve me because I am white. That's okay... would have probably spit in my food anyway.
Popeye's Corporate..... you need to shut this particular location down yesterday. They're tarnishing your brand...
