I know, 5 stars? Today, this location made a real impression and set the bar for all other fast food preparation in the USA.
This store has a super friendly AND professional team working the lunch shift and they are bilingual so they can help me and my crews without hesitation. Cleaning is a constant here when it gets busy and today they were all on top of that as well. So, why the review? Because today, I order lunch and in my order was a BLT Chicken sandwich and a deluxe cheeze burger. Today, I got my order and went to my truck to eat while working and when I opened my chicken BLT, the first thing I noticed was how the sandwich was NOT flattened like most do. The bread looked perfect. The chicken was at proper temp and well cooked. (Clean grease and proper timing all) and the remaining ingredients were perfectly proportionate to the sandwich, properly setting off the overall taste and making it delicious. Final, this had to be the neatest made chicken sandwich ever. When I opened it in my truck, nothing fell out of the wrapper and there was no sauce smeared on the wrapper as so many others do. I was able to enjoy this sandwich without a drop of mess in my truck. The total presentation was awesome. And guess what, so was the second sandwich. Same great care in the handling on my order today. Such a pleasant surprise to see a crew that really cares about my happiness. I even went in and order another chicken sandwich, I was that impressed and you guessed it: a third perfection of a sandwich. If all fast food had people like this lunch crew, they would do better. This Wendy’s has the right team in their and to that team, I want to thank you from my heart for a wonderful lunch today. Order 4938 was a moving experience and I wanted to let you know how great your efforts and kindness made a huge difference in my entire day. A day that was going a bit rough, was turned around because you took care to make me an awesome sandwich. Read moreI arrived around 8:11PM, and the store was a mess. A employee was walking toward the door to take out the trash and he rolled his eyes at me. There was no one at the register and I waited for about 6 minutes, until a manager asked if I was served. She did not help me herself, but told an employee to do so. He came and took my order and that process was fine, but I requested all of my items fresh. Following my order, my items came up unusually fast. I asked if they were fresh and I was lied to. The fries were so cold they were almost stale and the burger was so cold it was still. Luckily, I was hungry therefore I forced myself to eat it. Every time I come to this facility (the only Wendy’s in my area) the food is always cold and the staff rude and lobby looks horrible. Every time I ask for fresh food I am either lied to and given stone cold food or given an attitude following me ordering it. I have made note that the food is always cold whenever the Kitchen Manager Calle is there. I am really about to call the health department. Because food should not be this cold. And I also saw a stray bottle by the trays, that was in easy access to get sprayed on food. I love Wendy’s, but every time I come to this facility it makes me hate it and I am always sick following services, it’s probably given that food is cold. Read moreWe stopped going to Wendy's on route 40 because the service declined & the food many times is Luke warm & the orders are always missing something- The service people have attitude they were messing up orders & if you said anything at all "attitude" so we stopped going. We went for lunch yesterday, the service was a little better, very rushed which I think the cause of multiple order mix ups & deficiencies. Our food was luke warm & the chili was watery. We specifically said no salt 😳on the fries very salty. I think the problem is high turnover & poor management. I believe part of the problem is with the owners-its apparent they don't care about their employees, the outcome, they don't care either. And the customers will go where they pay attention to detail & feel they're getting their money's worth. The restaurant itself & bathrooms are not quite clean-poor environment not appetizing to the eye. I have discovered that if you want to be successful in the food business the owners should create if not a "genuine "we care for our employees" Provide some incentive for them to work & feel happy-If they're not then Everybody loses. I generously gave them 3 stars but we won't be going there...
