Just got a call from the “manager” at Zaxby’s who said his name was Human because humans make mistakes. Would not give me his real name, went out of my way to go to their location and get a grilled chicken salad I had a Dr’s appointment and was going to eat it in my car before my appointment. The office was closed for lunch. Opened up my bag and I had no fork, no napkins, I called Zaxby’s and was told by the “manager” I’d get a refund within 2 weeks(he took my complete credit card information) and it’s been over 6 weeks and no refund. I put a complaint in and Mr Human, the manger called me this evening, he was the rudest most condescending person I have spoken with in a while. I’m still in shock about his insensitive attitude. Told me if I made another complaint he will just keep closing it out, he has the franchise and he can do what he wants. Told me I should have checked for a fork and that if the fork was so important I should check before I leave the window. How does anyone eat a salad without a fork? Don’t most people go there on their lunch? Who ever heard of not give it a fork to eat with? He told me he wasn’t losing money because of a fork, well I guess I should lose money because of them training an new employee but not training them to add a fork so the customer can eat the salad they just spent over 10.00 on. I’d stay far away from this place the manager “Human” who’s afraid to give his real name is the worst manager I have ever encountered! I’m done with Zaxby’s! They need a lesson in customer service care and service! Go anywhere but here.

THE SYSTEM JUST WONT LET HIM. THIS PLACE IS BECOMING A JOKE. THAT ONCE A MONTH IS SLOWLY DROPPING TO EVEN LESS.
Customer service is really lacking here. Fully staffed and not a single employee understands customer service. Acknowledge the customer, greet the customer. Let them know someone will be right with them. Instead I get 4 employees make eye contact. One who makes comments about the customers ( this was obvious as she peaked around the corner said something to a coworker who then appeared to make eye contact with either me or someone else next to me. Then the other girl also looked as well. Made eye contact. But not a single word. They both walked away). The person who finally took the order seemed to be running the front expo. Thankful she took the order but even that seemed rushed and uninterested in what the customer was ordering or questions being asked. She walked away at one point to help another coworker. I counted 5 employees behind the front counter about 6 in the kitchen. Front of house seemed stressed over 3 tickets on their screen.

Read moreI went for dinner, ordered a 5 fingers plate. The chicken tasted like sausage, very weird. I asked my friend to taste it to make sure it wasnt just me. Something wasnt right. I went to the counter and asked if they maybe they fried different foods in the same grease or had something with the chicken style change. They replied NO. They asked did I want it replaced to I asked them could I taste the boneless wings to make sure it didnt taste the same. It seemed ok, so I agreed to receive an order of those, plain with sauce on side. I heard the guy tell the people that in the back. So i gave them my weird tasting plate and waited. They gave me teriyaki covered boneless wings without the sides. So asked for the sides, one worker was getting them when the manager comes back to the counter and refuses it. Per policy to replace the nasty chicken. So I placed it all on the counter and asked for my money back which they wanted to only pay back a portion of it because of an additional drink that was sitting on the counter full. So I left. Very unsatisfied. That is the last 15.57 you rip off from me. Customer service from the manager was not professional at all. Ended up at Hungary Howies who provided a coupon and lowered my dinner cost with a larger pizza than I was looking to order and tasted just like a pizza! Very nice and courteous service.
