Decent food, horrible staff and ownership... Luckily, we noticed the STAPLE in my 5 year old's salad before she ate it. Upon making this known to the server, she decided to try to handle it herself instead of making the manager on duty aware of the situation. No one ever came to speak with us, and the server brought us a gift card which we assumed would be the price of our meal, or at least one meal. We left very upset at the situation, but happy we caught it before my child ate it. It could have potentially killed her. Come to find out, they put a measly $5 on the gift card for something that could have killed my child, if ingested. I called, and spoke with an owner to explain the severity of the situation, and there should be absolutely no office supplies anywhere near a salad prep line. He didn't care, and kept asking, "Well did she eat it?" It doesn't matter if she didn't eat it, it shouldn't have been in our food. He then told me to contact my credit card company to get my money back, because the price of the salad was taken care of on the gift card ($5). As a concerned parent, that is not enough for me, and I continued to press the owner to make sure this never happens to someone else's child. The owner then decides to say, "I'm not talking to you about this" and hung up on me. It is absurd this happened in the first place, and now they are acting like they did their part to make things right. The health inspector will be contacted about this incident to make sure others remain safe eating at this restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant solely on this occurrence. For somewhere that serves decent tasting food, it is a shame they are so cheap and inconsiderate for others' concerns about food being...
Read moreI took a group of ladies here today raving about the experience they would have and was thoroughly disappointed. The chef greeted us by saying "I should be on break right now but instead I have to cook for you". I thought he was joking so I let it pass. Next he put all the food on the grill and cooked all at the same time. He did not perform at all, just cooked. He literally did nothing...I even asked him if he had just woke up from a nap because he was so lethargic. He did not give us any of the sauces and when we asked for sauce and he said he didn't have any. He the pointed at the empty table behind us and a lady sitting with had to get the quart sized jug of sauce off the table next to us and pour it our selves. At this time I'm just numb about our meal. He was not friendly. He cooked the food as fast as he could and left to room without even saying a word. Now I'm realizing he was really off pissed about his break. He was not joking. We even had to find our server to fill our glasses again. I eat here often and have never experienced the horrible service we received at any time before. After paying for the bill and notifying the person at the front desk of what happened I was told that today was the chefs last day and that he didn't care anymore. My suggestion to them was that they send him home early because he's treating their customers with utter disregard for the patronage they pay for.
They have lost a frequent customer. I was totally embarrassed because my guests did not receive the service I...
Read moreWe were seated promptly and our server was great! Chef comes out 30 minutes later (obviously drunk). He was staggering and swaying the entire time. He then proceeds to spill yum yum sauce all over the entire area. He then cooked everyone at the tables steak at the same temperature even though they were supposed to be different temperatures. He somehow managed to give us raw steak that was also burned. Fried Rice was crunchy and had a piece of plastic in it, noodles tasted like WD40. The shrimp was so overcooked that it was literally black. Chicken was undercooked. He missed the trash can with every egg shell but somehow did manage to get one in his hat. He also stuck his serving fork into the trash can and then started cooking with it again. He also burned his hand multiple times on the grill. The family that was seated at the table with us went to speak with the manager. The manager replies and I quote, “ Yeah, we knew he was drunk but we’re short staffed.” Once my fiancé told him that she couldn’t eat her shrimp because it was beyond burned, he started to catch an attitude. At this point I go to speak with the manager and he says” He’s drunk but he’s new.” Um….WHAT??? Finally after trying repeatedly to legitimize why his chef was drunk, the manager says “we won’t charge you for your food.” I said I appreciate it since none of it was edible. I will be back to tip our server as she did a great job and none of this was her fault. I completely forgot on...
