I got to say today I had a sad moment. 1st they brought me the wrong food, I call the waitress and told her that my food was wrong, she say you ask for a egg sandwich, I reply I asked for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with mayo and I got omlet with cheese on bread. She was nice and apologies and took the food back and brought me my sandwich. It was really sloppy eggs all runny sausages dehydrated 😔 I littery had to eat the sandwich with a fork and knife since the bread was soak in egg yoke . So sad I was there 3 weeks ago and always get my bacon egg and cheese sandwich on white toast with the egg over medium done that's almost hard and I could grave that sandwich with my hands and enjoy it 😔 today I. Can say I didn't not enjoy my food and paid $31.18 for a sloppy sandwich, dehydrated sauces, and potatoes that where not done right and still hard where the starch could be tasted and my wife's potatoes all burnt on the black coloration side. So desaponted I feel that the cook it's not the same person that cook for me in the last 4 years. But the one that cooked today it looks like he tossed a slice of bread on my plate and started throwing everything on it not carrying if it was lined up right. My thing is being a cook for over 30 years If a person orders a sandwich the presentation it's got to be at It's best, where the customers looks at it and say this is a well built sandwich I can grave it and not have mayo, mustard all over my figures or palms. In my case egg yoke and eggs hanging on one side because it was not center wright on the bread and the cheese on the other side 😔 I realy like this place but honestly I might look for a second choice for the next time I want to have...
Read moreSo, it is like six o'clock in the morning and for some reason I am driving through Ocala, Florida. In many places, to stop would mean getting stuck at a fast food kind of place with so much grease and empty carbs as to choke a butter ball. Luckily, I found this place on Yelp - it appeared to be on the other side of town, so we made a quick phone call to ensure that the place was indeed open ... yep, yep, yep. Groovy. Here is the run down: The server was friendly, and competent. She did not complain, nor punish me by disappearing for 30 minutes when I said I wanted to look at the menu. She did, however, immediately bring out my coffee, and even refilled it once while I was still studying the menu. Awesome. The menu has a lot of different things on it. Not standard Waffle, omelet, pancake kind of things, but even stuff like I ended up getting: the Fruit Crepes with yoghurt and walnuts on top. It is a really good choice. They have several types of muffins available, and they are worth while. My coffee cup never went below 1/2 empty. She was right on time every time, with refills. When it came time to go, she offered me a go cup - that must have been at least 16 oz, and she filled it up fresh. Way cool. They serve the coffee in a real mug, and they have raw sugar - way cool here. The food came out in a reasonable time frame ... enough for them to actually cook and to prepare the food ... and not simply defrost something. This was a great find, and I will definitely keep it in mind the next time I come floating by Ocala early. It is worth driving a bit off of the interstate to get here and to have a...
Read moreVery disappointed. We go here a lot but got the worst server (Tanya) ever. Unfortunately we have had her in the pass and she is more into talking and goofing off than taking care of her customers. It started off by her taking care of an obvious friend she called by name that came in after us as we sat and waited. It is partially our fault because we accepted a Ruben that was burnt. To make it worse the worse side was down to hid how bad it was burnt. When it was brought to the attention of the guy pouring coffee he said well it is hard to tell when serving dark bread with seeds?? Excuse me. We have been here several times in the last few months and always had good service. I do not think any decent server would have delivered the sandwich. We acknowledge we made a mistake by accepting it. One half was not as burn as the other so that half was eaten. The other have to burn to even consider eating so all the insides were eaten and the burn bread left on the plate. In addition the service was slow maybe because those came in after you had their orders taken prior to you. You do not see this when the boss lady is there. Will give it another try because it is usually much better. Server left much...
