Kristy's Casual Dining — Restaurant in Ocean Township

My partner and I went to have breakfast in this establishment twice the first time the food was not great ordered their holiday sauce egg platter the English muffin was extremely chewy, I was puzzled by the pierce of tomato inside my muffin since it doesn’t mention it in the description on the menu and I love holidays sauce but this one was so bad I couldn’t eat it... the second time I visited to give it another chance I asked for a Spanish omelette with cheese and and my partner ordered as well, as the food came out she brings me a spinach omelette and no cheese our food came out at the same time but mine was incorrect, I understand mistakes happen but as a server you should double check with the guess and read back the order to make sure you have the correct items, it was such an inconvenience for me because I went to eat with my significant other and by the time my food was corrected I ate ALONE and I felt like I couldn’t really enjoy it because now I felt rushed because I was being waited on when we went out to eat together as a couple.... also the fact that I can’t leave my honest review on the Facebook page because some server named TARA who claims to be there for 14 years rants on the page if you say something she dosent agree to,she starts being nasty, rude and senseless to costumers online .... no establishment is perfect it is expected to have its good and bad reviews the Spanish omelette wasn’t bad but due to this Tara server I will no longer, respect this place, recommend it to anyone nor be disrespected by a employee truly unprofessional. Then she’s posting that their looking for workers... who would want to work with that...

Thanksgiving Buffet overpriced for the same price you could have gone to Captain's Inn. Food was diner food served up buffet style. They had a big Gob bowl of what looked to be butter that was margarine. Butter was provided in little cubes. The desserts disappeared fast and we're not replaced enough. Seated next to counter would not move us to different table. Stared at by numerous and I mean numerous waitresses and Personnel while we were eating that was uncomfortable. They started pushing us at about 6:15 to hurry up which made us slow down more. It was a shame. Definitely think the buffet should have been priced around 15 $16. Probably never go here again it's just another Diner there are other places to go. On Thanksgiving of course it is limited in the area but I still think Captain's in is a better bet with hundreds of more selections for around the same price. We always go to Captain's Inn but we took a break this time and we are sorry we did. If you want to go to a place like Perkins or a diner then this restaurant diner is the place to go. I have to mention the stuffing it was horrible it was made from stale bread the same bread they had out to eat now I am privy to stuffing because I make my own but at least don't you sourdough bread the stuffing ring of being old and stale. I think they tried but they could have done better. Especially for the clientele who went in because this area can't afford the Buffet at this price. Three people, $140 with the tip and the $20 tip clearly wasn't...

Went to Kristy"s for dinner 2 of us.. ordered the fried seafood combo it was absolutely horrible.. We both looked @ each other Saying after every bite of fish scallops shrimp even the Mash potatoes We jus couldn't eat it .. it was all jus horrible pulling back the breading on fish scallops jus looked gross scallops chewy n dry ..I really Don't like to complain sucks when u have to send food back. So the manager took the food asked if we wanted something else,the 2 of us order a burger n wings to go cuz by that time everyone was done eating .that food was good ..thought maybe we would get discount on bill for the Inconvenience But did Not they jus took off the fish combo's off bill ..anyways We were disappointed ... I have No photos to show of My experience , I Don't recommend ordering seafood...
