I've been actively keeping up on my nails for over a year, which is a big deal for me... I get the gel. Product wise they use the BEST gel. What bugs me about this salon is, they play favoritism with their customers. And sometimes the female owner will say rude things about your preference on nail length or the color you like. I've been a regular for probably 8 months, but because I was never very talkative she didnt treat me as nicely as the people who bring her food or random gifts. They also jump from customer to customer, making the time to get your nails done take even LONGER than you should need. I even heard her say she likes to prolong the time for conversation with her favored clients. Even with an appointment, there's a good chance you won't be taken on time because of this fact. I only put up with it so long because I knew at least the product would hold up better than other places, until recently. They started to rush my nails drying, so for a few months I've had issues with the gel lifting and breaking my real nail down very far to where it would hurt. So now after keeping them well groomed I'm taking a break from my nail care again until I find another...
Read moreI usually would just go about my life and not write a review, but the service Ive recieved is just down right unprofessional. The first time I went there, everything seemed okay and I really enjoyed my experience. However, when making my next appointment with a specific person, they were taking walk ins before getting to me, the person I asked for never did my nails. The girl Gabby is phenomenal, however the owners, specifically the wife, barks orders at her to be in 9 million places at once. I waited 40 minutes for my appointment to even start that day. Then I go in this past Monday for a fill, a bunch of girls are hanging out and bsing with the wife and no ones acknowledging me yet again. Then due to the wind they lose power and I was the only one in there who wasnt being worked on. So today i walked in at 430 and no one acknowledges me for 10 minutes and then when they do, they tell me theyre backed up and to come back at 6. They are so slow and take forever, it seems like they can never get it together when Gabby isnt in the salon. I will never go back here. I drove to forked river at 440 today got my fill and got back on the road by 540. Thats how a nail...
Read moreMy mom who is 85 years old, with memory issues and depressed. She tried Bayside nails the 1st time and had no issues. The 2nd time she was told to leave the premises because the person didnât want to do her feet. She has severe rheumatoid arthritis and knows her feet are not the best. She kept pointing as best as she could letting the person know about her nail, and a callous, they said it was fungus. Yes they are correct, the podiatrist stated nothing can be done because of her age, and it is not contagious. She did try to tell them but had no patience for her. I was called and told to tell her to leave. She is trying to keep her independence and speak for herself but sometimes itâs hard for her. I was hurt over the situation since she has been to other nail places, but this one is close by and never had been treated this way. Despite her broken English she tries and they were horrible to her. This is not to say this establishment is not a good place, this is so they do not treat another person the way my mom...
