I hate to be harsh, and this is not my experience every time I come here, but the person who took my order was just...cold. He seemed genuinely annoyed that he was taking my order, not friendly in the least, and when he asked what size I wanted my combo and I said "regular size" (because I never know how to answer that question as it always feels absurd to me) he actually sighed audibly and frustratedly said "small or medium?" with real bite in his tone. I only rated this visit at all because Google maps prompted me to- and like I said, I'm not trying to be a total wuss and I certainly don't expect drive thru operators to sound overjoyed every time I order a Famous Star, but here's some advice to anyone reading this that may work one of these jobs currently (I've done so, so I don't feel like I'm being cocky here) but a particularly pleasant drive thru or cashier encounter can seriously make a person's day, and can be the difference between giving up and having hope in a general sense if it happens at the right moment for someone. Just the same, a negative encounter of the same type can make you feel gross and weird and embarrassed. This was one of those experiences. To the person who took my order: I'm sorry that I annoyed you. You really hurt my feelings and I was pretty close to cancelling my order, peeling out and going home to cry. Drove through their drive through and ordered my food end up with the wrong order no problem people make mistakes but then i call the place to inform them of what had happened. a kid named Jesus answers the phone. i explain the situation to him. he back talks to me straight off the bat and tells me thier is no order on his screen then asked me for a receipt that they didnt give to me or he cant help me bs. Read moreI've been to different CJ's. This particular location is one in top ranks, as far as overall service and staying on top of the checklist of operations. I notice the food is always good and freshly made. Clean environment consistently. Professional team working to make sure customer satisfaction... A good friend of mine actually works there. In fact, he is the only person I've seen there that's still there. consistently . He hasn't skipped a beat. Since 2019. Maybe longer? Different managers, I think, alteast 2 or 3, that I can recall 🤔. Anyway, my point is I'm wondering if they're taking care of him . Good help is hard to find these days. I wonder why he isn't in management. I would have offered a better opportunity within the franchise to keep him around longer if I were overseeing this business for sure.
