Taco Bell — Restaurant in Oceanside

The homeless people in this area are really... abundant. I took two stars off because of the loitering outside and because of an employee smoking cigarettes with the homeless people. It was really off-putting.

Start to finish, with my transaction, I had a really great experience at this Taco Bell. I judge fast food restaurants on whether if they read my order back to me and give me a total before I get to the window. And this Taco Bell did all of that. If I don't get my order read back to me, I have no confidence that they got the order right. But this place did a really good job. And they were really kind and thorough. The two employees who I spoke with were not only kind but patient and professional. They both seem to bit younger, probably in the early 20s. I really appreciate it how polite they were and how professionally were. The girl at the window made a little chitchat and I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I think that's something that's hard to find in fast food but she was genuinely nice.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere a negative two stars, which is not at the fall of the restaurant. But there are a bunch of homeless people loitering outside and I did not want to bring my kids inside. And I took another star off because there was a Taco Bell employee wearing a Taco Bell logo shirt in the parking lot smoking a cigarette, hanging out where a bunch of homeless people had made an encampment in one of the parking spots. I'm not going to lie, that's not somebody I want handling my food. Obviously people can hang out with whoever they want and obviously he's a grown adult who can smoke cigarettes. But doing it so blatantly out in the public of the parking lot of where you work, wearing your work uniform with two people who look like drug addicts, was not a good look for Taco Bell. And I felt bad because it made the two people who were inside being incredibly professional and polite, it made them look bad. And it made Taco Bell look bad. Because if I hadn't seen that guy smoking a cigarette with a bunch of homeless people, or I hadn't seen a bunch of homeless people outside of the restaurant, this would have been an all-around awesome experience. The food was good and consistent. It was probably the best Mexican pizza I've had in a really long time. And they got a Doritos locos taco and it was actually really good.

Most unprofessional Taco Bell!! I wanted to have a simple breakfast to enjoy my Sunday morning. So I chose Taco Bell because it's one of my favorite breakfasts in fast-food!! I went to Oceanside, San Diego, located Town Center North!! When I came in restaurants, Nobody greeted me, and I stood in the register for about five minutes before anyone could assist. I had to desperately get the employee's attention. A particular employee named “Oscar” gave me a very hard time!! He slammed my drink on the counter!! When I asked for the management the staff was cold and did not want to assist!! Finally, a manager assisted he was very kind and professional and even assisted me with a discount for the breakfast for convenience. But I'm still bothered that this particular in Taco Bell is polluted with unprofessional staff!! That Oscar guy blue my Sunday morning and my breakfast at taco bell!! I feel he must be seriously terminated for treating customers this way!! He is not a fit for the company establishment!! Went Tuesday the 9th or April at 12:30 got a value meal nacho’s very sad looking. Like 3 nacho chips Smallest portions I’ve ever had what’s going on. Went back in the restaurant this African American guy says that’s what it is. Thinking I would walk out. I’m 62 years old my sons in the car. I said you half to do better than that. I always get this at different Taco Bell’s it’s my favorite he the Africa American man start in disrespectful tone of voice thats it buddy he wouldn’t shut up never have I seen someone arguing like that very not business like (immature). The manager came out I asked her I just want my money back. He kept arguing with me acting disrespectful to me I said I’m never coming back. He said fine don’t come back. I said I won’t. Back and forth business. I said you have the wrong job the way you’re acting with customers. Just throw on more chips and I would have been happy.
