Called in for special pho and fried egg rolls. Food was ready right away. I looked at the bill seemed high for my order but gave my card anyway. After I receivd my card back I open the bag and realized my order is not right how I wanted.Looked at the menue and realized they over charged me twice for my special pho order. I showed them the menue price and asked clarification. Manager said they made a mistake and gave me two pho and charged me twice. I showed the food and made a point that I only recieved one soup. I requested only tri tip and tendons but they gave me rare steak too. Asked for no hajalepino and surly there was hajalepino in the bag. I looked at tendon they looked frozen just got out of freezer. Asked the manager if tendnos are cooked and she confirmed yes. I am posting a copy of revised receipt after she already took $15.00 off the bill but she made sure to add extra $4.00 for special pho where she already charged me $8.00 extra as a L pho is $15.00 on the menue but she charged me $23.50. Very very pooooor service. Will never go back. I walked out!

Yesterday we came here for the first time and ordered seafood pho and chicken pho to-go. I also asked for no sauce with the spring rolls because Im allergic to peanut sauce. I also made it very clear no peanut sauce. We drove home and because I worked I saved my spring rolls for lunch without looking in the box. We actually enjoyed the pho it was pretty tasty and didn't have much complaints. Come to the time it is lunch at work and I open my spring roll box to find peanut sauce which im allergic to(luckily it was sealed) as well as a strand of hair inside my spring roll. I of course wanted to makes sure that it wasn't my own hair and confirmed it was inside the roll. I do have hair that coils like a spring so it wouldn't be my hair. That made me distrust this location and we will not return. If we didn't find the strand of hair it would've been a 7/10 but the hair made everything unappealing.

When i visited the restaurant, they are launching the new hot stone beef noodle. Try it if you are here. The both is kept as natural as possible, less spice, but so tasty served with fresh rare beef that you can cook it to your liking, delicious like a boiling hot soup. I ordered a Bun Bo Hue, because the lady said "we cooked different broth for them", in Vietnam, it is a sign of a good restaurant with a caring chef. Different dish cooks with different broth. And the Bun Bo Hue is delicious, with a lot of vegetables and nice side chili oil (you can ask for it or not depending on how spicy you like). Completely different from other Vietnamese restaurants around Oceanside, they don't put too much sugar in their broth, the mild and tasty broth stands out with the full taste of fresh ingredients. And don't forget to order a pork rind spring rolls, some of the best i have tried in South Cal.

This is for this one visit only. The Pho and the rice dishes are excellent.

Wanted to have try their Vietnamese Beef Stew, had it seven different Vietnamese restaurants and they were excellent and similar with slight variations, so ordered it here.

Vietnamese Beef Stew with Rice and Baguette.

That was how I ordered it. The order taker asked what type is noodle and I repeated that I wanted it with Rice. He kept taking rice or egg and I repeated Rice.

When the order came, it looked like a swamp. 4 pieces of meat, 3 carrots, in a Pho bowl buried in broth/soup. No rice and no baguette. I asked where's the rice, and he replied in the bowl.

There was no rice, but rice noodles. Asked for rice and got noodles. And no baguette. The choice was noodles (rice or egg) or steamed rice and a baguette. He continued to be argumentative with me bringing out the menu stating OR. I was getting fed up and stated that I ordered it with Rice not Noodles, since I haven't eaten since 5 am and it was 430pm when we arrived.

He offered to remake it and I told him to forget about it, just being me a bowl of rice, which he eventually did. Took the meat and carrots out and placed it on the rice with a spoon of soup.

It tasted like fish and soy sauce. Like it was marinated in it for hours. There is fish sauce I the dish, but not that much. It was horrible, you couldn't taste the beef, what little beef there was. I could make a pot of Vietnamese Beef Stew that would serve 10 people, and I would use 6 tablespoons for the entire pot.

They wouldn't even refill my glass of water.

I'll eventually go back for the Pho and rice dishes, but never...

5 stars all around. Ive been coming here for 8 years. Now let me tell you why. #1 the food is delicious i love the egg rolls the spring rolls are amazing the peanut sauce is absolutely perfect & of course the pho is tasty! And presentation is beautiful #2 the facility is extremely CLEAN! And welcoming, from families to couples to locals, everyone is enjoying their meal in this calm and homey yet professional environment. They also CLEAN their menus. A plus to that! In not afraid of their bathroom either #3 They do have a wonderful vegan menu down to a science… as well. Ive eaten meat on & off over the years. But they have vegan spring rolls. That you wouldn't know the difference if there was meat or not theyre just splendid. #4 consistency- all ways the soups come out nice n hot , as well as with the Teas. I love the Jasmine green Tea. Very wholesome and decorative on the table as well. Delicious Thai Tea #5 Attentiveness & Customer Service- they really pay attention to you here they check on you and provide any things you need quickly. They are always kind and helpful. - even at their 2nd location in Vista. All is well!!

A message For the restaurant - you guys used to make a dry seasoned version of your angel wings and about 3-4 years ago it changed. i think it would be great to have both options. Dry & Sauced With details of each flavor. Or even to do 1/2 & 1/2 Because those dry wings were a definite hit!!! I still like the sauced ones but I believe The dry ones were game changing and even a promotion for them could prove this to be right. Thank...
