The worse Dennys I.have ever been to service is bad. Waited to be seated for 5 min, watched 3 leaving tickets taken care of after the manager had came out to do the job of the hostess. Hostess continues to say sorry I'm on break I can't help you and left. Finally seated by the manager, she had to clean the table before we sat. The waitress didn't understand us that well. Just not good. All this as a first impression and we haven't even ordered yet. Hostess had to take out order since our waitress want to take her break. Coffee cup wasn't clean. Just ordered and still not impressed. Our now "waitress " didn't even hear about what I ordered and proceeded to read what it comes with. Meaning she doesn't know the menu like all employees should know by heart.and to be really honest the food come at a decent time but my hash browns where cook to long and burnt and my Philly cheesesteak omelette it was not a cheesesteak it was just a Philly steak omelette with little to no cheese to be seen or tasted and my girls food peantbutter chocolate chip pancake plater one of her pancake was cooked to long her hash browns where cook to long and burnt and her coffee wasn't what she asked for. Definitely not what what we'd expect from a town bigger than the one we just moved from. The Denny's in San Angelo,Tx is way better than this one in Odessa,Tx. To make it worse we could hear a waitress talking to the kitchen staff through the cut out and she was being rude and cursing at them for getting an order wrong when she was the one...

I am a customer who witnessed a customer be told today that they could not use the restroom by the night manager. They were clearly a customer because they came together waiting to be seated. One stopped on the way to use the bathroom and told him since he was not a paying customer yet he could not use the bathroom. The lady he was with was so upset she walked out and the man was also upset and told the manager he was shocked and felt disrespected and left. I've seen many instances with this same manager which has resulted in the loss of your future business. Some other managers have also blatantly disrespected customers. I've seen waitresses help other customers they knew first , instead of helping the ones who came in first. I've seen managers during the day harass customers just because they asked for the heater to be turned on. I witnessed a manager lie to customers about what food was available because they didn't like them. I have been coming to this location for years and have never seen so much unprofessionalism. And question whether or not it will remain a restaurant I will go to. This complaint will also be forwarded to the BBB, regional/area manager, corporate and whoever it may concern. Read moreOur server Fernando is such a great server. I watch him and he treats all his customers as if they are the most important customer in the room. He has great work ethics and personable skills. And Laura and Fernando both go above and beyond to make your dinning experience a really great one. I gave a 4 on the Atmosphere, all though it isn't dirty, it could really use some sprusing up, the inside would draw more people if it had some remodeling inside done. Such as paint and new carpet even. I've heard so many people in town say, until they do something with that building inside they aren't going back to eat there. Just the building atmosphere is uninviting doesn't make you comfortable, I agree, but we don't have a lot of 24 hr restaurants besides Whataburger. I used to work at the Denny's off Hwy 80 years ago. It was a nice new building, we stayed real busy. I just feel bad for the condition of the building Denny's has to be in now. That has a lot to do with people applying to work there too. I know several people looking for work say no way would I work there, the building needs to be retired. Just thought I would be honest about the atmosphere...
