Sam's BBQ — Restaurant in Odessa

Stopped there today, ordered 1 sliced beef sandwich for my husband (who was waiting in the car after a doctor appointment) from the printed menu at the counter. Price was listed as $6.80. Order turned in and then hostess rings up order and tells me I owe $10.86. What? Menu says $6.80. Hostess says prices went up and they hadn't changed the menu yet. With a hungry husband waiting I went ahead and paid and took the sandwich. I leave and husband finds a chopped beef sandwich instead of sliced beef, no pickles or onions (listed on the menu). This has to be the best BBQ in Odessa!!! We tried the sliced brisket, sausage links, smoked chicken, and ribs. All of them were perfectly flavored and the BBQ sauce was just the right zip for my bite!! For our sides we had sweet potatoes, beans, potato salad, fries. Let say the beans are beyond amazing and very addictive, the potatoes salad was smooth and had a crisp tangy flavor, the sweet potatoes were delicious, and the fries were good. Dessert was peach cobbler and pecan pie cobbler.... both were absolutely amazing and so sweet 😋. If you haven't had Sam's BBQ, you are only hurting...

When this place first reopened the bbq was really good I don't know what happened as of today as I'm writing this review the bbq was not good my food was cold I got a 3 meat plate they hardly gave me any meat for the price I had to pay it definitely wasn't worth it if yall gonna charge people over 20 dollars for bbq at least give people there money's worth at the same time I might have just caught it on a bad day hopefully they can resolve that problem because food is to expensive especially if you aint getting your money's worth and it's cold hopefully they...
