Amazing selection of craft beers with a unique emphasis on sours. I love that they had an interesting beer from Waunakee, WI. The building is historic (used to be an Eagle’s Club).
History lovers will also want to notice the cement before walking in which notes Walter Chrysler’s “birth of an idea” — while working as the superintendent of motive power for the Chicago Great Western railroad in Oelwein, Walter Chrysler developed a keen interest in automobiles. This interest was sparked after experiencing mechanical issues with his friend's Locomobile, an early automobile.
The building is super spacious and while we were there for RAGBRAI, it was jam packed and super noisy. They also offered nice looking pizza.
