First Garden — Restaurant in Oelwein

Waitress was very rude. Went to pay and card machine was not working, had no sign to let anyone know. I know these things happen so no big deal I will pay with cash, the waitress then gets mad at me because I do not have enough CASH to leave her more than a $1.78 tip. I would have left to go to the ATM to get her a tip if she would have been so rude to me about getting a tip. I have never had a waitress ask for a tip. Went in with a friend for lunch today. The waitress, whom I assume is the owner, was absolutely rude and unprofessional. She reached over my plate, as I was taking a bite of food to get my empty soup dish. The bill came to $23.33 and I gave her $25.33. She asked if I wanted change and I told her yes. Then she proceeded to ask me if I don't tip!! I told her no, because her service was terrible, please just give me my change. Restaurant was clean. Food was good. Service was horrible. My husband asked if he could have noodles instead of rice and she raised her voice and said no no....only rice. He was willing to pay extra, but she interrupted and wouldn't let him say anything else. Food and drinks were dropped off and server never stopped back by until the end to drop off the check.
