My husband and I placed an order for food. While waiting in our vehicle, my husband observed the cashier, identified as "Gaby," repeatedly touching her face without washing her hands. Immediately afterward, she proceeded to handle and pack our food. My husband then observed the manager, identified as "Iana," engaging in the same unsanitary practice. Upon receiving our food from Gaby, we immediately requested to speak with a manager. When Gaby asked why, my husband showed her video evidence of her unsanitary actions. She responded by stating, "we are closed and we can't redo the food or anything." She then called over a coworker named Mason, to whom we also showed the video evidence. Mason acknowledged the issue, stating, "yea I wouldn't eat the food either." The manager, Iana, then approached us. When confronted about the unsanitary practices, she claimed that as cashiers, they do not need to use gloves. We informed her that this practice is unsanitary and unacceptable. When my husband stated he would send the videos to the health department, she replied, "that's fine." Given the clear disregard for hygiene, we requested a refund for our order. The employees appeared displeased by this request. We were asked to wait outside for a refund receipt, but after a significant wait, no one came out. My husband had to re-enter the establishment to retrieve the refund receipt. The manager, Iana, then made an unhelpful comment about needing to swipe our card, and concerningly, processed the refund under someone else's name. We have clear video and photographic evidence to support these claims of unsanitary food handling practices and the subsequent unprofessional customer service. Read moreSo I had stopped in a month ago or so and had a pretty unfortunate experience at this location while I was there with my brother.
We were in the middle of a road trip out west to visit some friends of ours and made a point to stop in and visit the restaurant because we’ve had good experiences in other locations around the country.
This was not one of them- our food was made incorrectly and when we had spoken to one of the staff about possibly having the food remade, the service person in question cut us off and was very rude towards my brother, who is Hispanic and does not speak English very well.
I then asked to speak to the shift/general manager (whichever was on duty at the time) and I was asked to wait. I waited close to 10 minutes until the general manager (Mike was his name) came out and asked what the issue was and refused to believe me when I spoke to him and basically had a very racist and derogatory attitude towards my brother.
I’m never ever stopping there again and I for sure would like to file a complaint against Mike and the upper management of the store as well.
Honestly, based off the other reviews I’ve seen about this place, I’d say I’m far from the first person to have an issue with the people that work there and I very much would like some kind of investigation launched...
Read moreWe went 3/2/24 at 1:01 am after we got off at work. We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the cashier who took our order. He was extremely rude. His POS froze momentarily, and he started tapping very aggressively on the screen and then stated he couldn't take our order. I patiently watched and told him to try and back out the order and start over. He said he couldn't take our payment even if it worked. I said to him, you haven't tried. At which time he tried and it was working fine. As I repeated my order back he rudely interrupted me multiple times saying I know and I heard you. This was not the first time dealing with him. The last time we were there we ordered 3 sandwiches and when I asked to have extra pickle he said unfortunately you can. We actually got no pickles that time.. I love the food but this guy shouldn't be working with customers. We go here 2 -3 times a week spending $25-$35 each time on average.. I hope something changes with the employee. Im sure there are cameras to check in regards to this interaction.
