Best GF ever met friends for lunch and brought home an order of baby backs with Cole Slaw and Baked Beans. Baby Backs had seven bones, nice color and just enough char. Just a tad overdone but well within the very good range. Small side container of sauce. Standard sweet tomato based sauce. Interesting aftertaste. Cole Slaw had tart vinegar tang. Baked Beans had a mixture of beans and chunks of pork. Sauce was thick. Had a hard time identifying the taste elements. But it was nice. A really nice take out lunch. Maybe not the best ribs in the area but definitely in the top two. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. 1/24 UPDATE: Finally made it to the main restraunt. Crowded but immediately seated. Friendly and helpful staff. Large menu with a separate sheet of special. I ordered the "Pick Two". KC Ribs, Beef Brisket, BBQ Baked Beans and coleslaw. Food came 3 minutes after ordering. Fast but that means it was probably pre-cut and kept warm. BBQ Sauce was sweet with a little kick. Beans had a unique chili flavor. Coleslaw had a thin white dressing. Ribs were warm and moist and slightly underdone. Cuts were meaty. The brisket was served in two 2x3inch slabs 3/4" thick. Not the conventional diagonal brisket cut but probably a good method if the brisket will be pre-cut and kept warm. Very fatty. Overall impression was "Ok". Definitely not up to the hype but not the worst either. I would go back but wouldn't be in a hurry. Today there was significant construction on an outdoor seating area. Parking was impacted.

I wanted to leave a one-word review... The word would be "Amazing", but I felt I should go into greater detail. First off we stumbled upon this place because of a billboard ad, it was a half hour further out from the direction we were going but we decided to try it anyway. And boy are we glad we did. We pulled in at about 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was pretty full, we thought they might be giving something away inside. Lol. We walk in and the place is huge. Very large bar area, large dining room and a table with probably 10 to 12 seats on each side if you were to need a party setting. We were greeted by a very nice bartender who was courteous and helpful the whole time. Plenty of beers on tap and what looks like great craft cocktails. We opted to start off with an appetizer of Brussel sprouts. Unexpectedly they were coated with some type of mustard glaze which was totally unexpected. Even though my wife's not into mustard we both thought they were delicious. I ordered the Sunday Smokehouse which is half a chicken, four kc ribs, six wings and two sides. Tasted amazing and was plenty of food. My wife opted for the pick three and got Brisket, KC ribs and Pork Belly. It was all perfectly cooked and tasted amazing once again. Even though this place is over an hour away from our home we will definitely be back and I highly suggest you give it a try.

The food was good, with the exception of the sides. Baked beans look like they sat for quite some time and tasted as such. The cheese potatoes are just hash browns with cheese. The servers were kind and did switch out my cheese potatoes for fries, which I am thankful for. The place echoes way too much and the projector on the wall is a bit distracting in comparison to the tvs playing. Just doesn’t go together. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been in the doors, and although it has been upgraded a bit; the booths are the same- but are bordered with unfinished wood and the light fixtures; although modern and rowed out with uniform lighting; is thrown off by light fixtures being different per each row. They just don’t go with one another. If the idea was to incorporate different styles; they should segregate the rowing to add ambience, because together it is confusing and comes off like each row was purchased at different times. A bit tacky- sectioning off truly would help tremendously, and would help with the echoing as well- so maybe look in to that? So summation: too pricey(simply because the sides are strange- I’d never charge those prices for cheese potatoes(I make these at home but they’re called trash potatoes, btw) good MAIN DISH food, great wait staff, poor atmosphere. Projector is behind my guys head… so corny, lol

Went to Barry Dyngles the other night and have to say I was rather disappointed. Not with the Service or Atmosphere, because our waiter was awesome and welcoming. But the food was less than desirable. I wish I would have taken pictures but didn't want to make a scene or people looking thinking I am a "Foodie" or someone that needs to post pics of my food on Instagram. I got the Sunday BBQ special that included Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken and 2 Sides. First off the 2 sides I chose was the Vegetable Medley and Mac and Cheese. I thought both were very good. But that is not really why anyone goes to a BBQ restaurant. Just a personal note I did move from a Barbecue Kingdom in NC, so I do have a specific palate for Barbecue. So now on to the Pulled Pork, it was good, the sauces provided were good with one being a bit on the Hot side and the other sweet both complimented the pork. My only problem with the Pork is the same I have for the rest. The chicken, as tasty as it was (Drenched in sauce), it wasn't barbecue it was just a thin chicken breast cooked on a grill. It was enjoyable, but not what I was expecting to get. Thought since it was Barbecue that I would be getting some chopped chicken. But the taste wasn't bad. Now to the brisket... this was the most disappointing because I was told how good it would be. Now I am starting to think the people that bragged about this place have never really had barbecue in their life. The slices provided was from the fatty side (Which most places do give since it is a larger side and you can get more cuts from it) was SUPER MUSHY and 1 piece had about 1-2 inch piece of fat connected to it. I know it isn't easy to cut fat of briskets when you are having to cook so many in a day, but to have such a thick piece of fat being served is just a lack of attention to detail. But my biggest draw back was the lack of a smoke right or even any smoke flavor to not just the brisket, but any of the meat. The brisket tasted like it was steamed more than smoked with wood and fire. I also wonder if they use any kind of a rub on the brisket. There was a lack of flavor and no bark. It was just soft, not tender, just soft. I guess when I read that you wouldn't need teeth to eat their "tender brisket"" that was a true sign of what I was getting into. I know times driving by I have smelled the scent of smoked wood (Smells a lot like hickory if that is indeed what they are using) but the flavor was not there in any of the food. Disappointing because hickory does had a nice taste to barbecue. Not sure if I just caught them on an off night on a Sunday and not saying I wouldn't go back because the pulled pork was good. Just was expecting true barbecue and feel like what I got was good coming out of a steam cooker (Would explain the mushiness) or just something coming off a grill. Who knows if anyone will see this, but if you are a barbecue place you have to make sure the food you are serving is not mushy and you cannot have such thick fat connected to the food you are serving. Hopefully this is a one off and if I am to ever go back maybe there will be more smoke flavor, some bark and maybe some rub on the Brisket. 3 Stars mostly for the service our waiter provided and what we saw from the staff with others at...

I'll start with we had a reservation for 10 people made 6 days in advance. When we arrived they sat our party at 2 different tables. When we questioned why do we have have to sit a 2 different tables with so many available tables her response was we have reservations for thise tables. Again we also had a reservation. I couldn't understand why they couldn't split someone else, I mean we were there. So my husband asked for the manager. The manager although hesitant said okay you can have this table, they aren't due here till 8pm. (Our reservation was for 5pm) he was apologetic, but I feel it was because he realized this should have never happened. Now to the food. I was so excited for the Brisket and my husband for the filet. I've had brisket many times and I understand the amount of fat on brisket but this brisket was no where near tender and 80% fat(not edible). My nephew also ordered the brisket and felt the same way, so I know it wasn't only me. Now to the filet, my husband ordered it well done, yes I know that's always a risk, but it came out medium at best and was very tuff. Not impressed. With those we had cheesy potatoes, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, potato soup and pasta salad. Pasta salad was fine, the potatoes and Mac and cheese were dry and flavorless, the coleslaw was like just biting a head of cabbage and the potato soup was so thick as if it were white gravy with way to much flour. With that I had a berry sangria that was fantastic, my other Nephew had the white chicken chili and loved it, and our server who's name I don't know was also great. My advice would be go for after...
