Uptown Pizza (Austintown) — Restaurant in Austintown

Reading these comments, I feel like there may be some small town bias happening as the new Uptown location is directly across from the pizza pillar of Austintown, Wedgewood Pizza. Anyone who says the red sauce at Uptown is flavorless needs to stop smoking Newports. It is delicious. It tastes just like it does at the well established Belmont and Market St locations. We were wondering how Uptown Pizza was going to do, being right across from the famous Wedgewood Pizza. And the results of the taste test are in (from our household anyway) : Pros: we liked the size of the crust - not too thick, not too thin. Cons: the red sauce had no taste - we had to put spices on it! The crust also had no taste and was very dry. It was fun to try a new pizza place, but we will be sticking with Wedgewood.
