Dunkin' — Restaurant in Ohio

NOT READY FOR BUSINESS AT 5:30 AM. A good buddy attempted to get change for a $20. DENIED. NOT a $50 or $100 which is TOTALLY understandable... an entire $20 bucks. NO attempt to ask around their staff to see if anyone can break it, no attempt to apologize or make us feel better about the lack of being able to assist. That is terrible. Sandwich was good, coffee was good, staff and management was even alright given the situation. I feel like this must come from up top... district manager? Owner? Is this place going out of business? Maybe... then I would understand. Because of them not being able to get this $20, could not get my $10 to get milk for my 4 year old little boy. Dunkin Doughnuts is like the father from the movie "FRIDAY"... SHOOT, JUST PUT SOME WATER IN IT. As crazy as it sounds, my lil man will not have as many nutrients as he usually would. It's okay, I'll be able to break it with him at 2 PM when he gets put of work at a REPUTABLE and PREPARED business. And I scraped enough pocket change together to be able to buy a milk chug. I have NEVER been let down like this by a food place in the area in my entire life over something so simple, stupid, and idiotic. Once again, shout out to upper management for being so strict and controlling of these poor minimum wage employees that they are afraid to help a customer by breaking a dang $20 bill. 10 years in the restaurant business here... ran an establishment, still work in customer service. UNACCEPTABLE. Unless this is rectified, I am taking a stand over this HUGE inconvenience and lack of caring. Not only will I spread the word to stop my family and friends from buying here, I will spread the word on how upper management has 0 understanding of Buisness Ethics. Place was decent to work for when I worked there. I always made sure I handed out good presentable food and beverage products because I came from Florida and believe in presentation, what I didn’t appreciate was after I moved back to Florida, your payroll department decided to call the cops on me because I accidentally cashed a two year old paycheck that I had previously digitally deposited and was unaware. I couldn’t get a job in Florida for 6 months because of you guys so thanks a lot. I had to deal with the Mahoning county court, which isn’t the brightest I might add, and everything, come to find out my bank returned the money to you almost immediately. so get your finances together and go over your paperwork before you do something stupid. Once the police saw what I went through they were like okay bye this is stupid. I’m like yup. That’s Ohio for you. Derp. I would also like to add that favoritism ran ramped there and there was barely an hr department because all of upper management had this weird friendship bond and made all the little people feel like idiots. I live in canfield. I always get 2 or 4 cheese and eggs wake up warp every morning. The girl on the window is always nice and respectful. It is been a month since I've been there and i plan to stay away... One morning i did order the usual..the girl was nice and handed me my breakfast. I got to my work to enjoy my breakfast finding out i got someone else order!!! Knowingly i am high risk diabetic i need to eat breakfast on time everyday so i can tske my medicine. I managed to eat cereal that day and kept the wrong order in my fridge. Next day i went in explained to the cashier whst hsppened...one of the managers came to me with a loud tone asking "what happened"? I felt embarrassed cause all employees were looking at me...then she told the cashier ok exvhange it for him!!!!
