Golden Crown Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Ohio

Ordered 2 dinners, 3 egg rolls and some soup. What I got was 2 combos, 3 egg rolls (well, 5 because they come with the combo) and the soup. Now this was supposed to feed 4 people, hence ordering the full size dinners. My kids, of course started eating from the styrofoam trays. I called and the person on the phone says "yeah, you ordered dinner items. That means the combo" No, I would have said COMBO. Then the owner, who speaks broken english so was hard to communicate with, says I need to give back the food and she will remake it. I let her know the kids are already eating it. She says ok she will make new food. Go all the way back there and she says she needs the old food back. 1. That's not what I thought she said since we cant really communicate who knows! That's a health violation- it was already being eaten Was she going to dump the old partially eaten food into the larger portion to make a "new" dinner? Had to buy shrimp chips since it doesn't come with the soup....what? Won't be back although the kids said...

I got a combination platter of Chicken Chow Mien and it was pretty good. Cost $8.50 and came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. Kind of wish they didn't smash the egg roll in the box on top of the fried rice. Egg roll was also dry so i think it was over deep fried. They also add the crunchy noodles for you, and they sit at the bottom, so they got super soggy quick. I also got crabrangoons and golden fingers on the side. I got gravy for the golden fingers and usually I always love gravy with the fingers but this gravy was kind of funky. It was my first time trying this place and since I live 5 mins from it figured I was take a shot. I would go back but would not get the rangoons again, and maybe skip the gravy. I first wanted to try their string bean chicken but was told they were out. Hopefully next time I can...

I recently door dashed from here. We absolutely love the food, it's always amazing. Our door dash driver did not bring our full order. When I spoke to the gentleman at the restaurant, he explained that half the order was left by the door dash driver. He then told me that he would make sure I received my order. He remade my order so that it was hot and then personally delivered it to my house. I was blown away with how professional and kind he was. At no point was he rude. He showed up at my door with a smile on his face and APOLOGIZED for the DOOR DASH drivers mistake. Again, I was blown away. I thanked him for his kindness and his response was "no, thank YOU for choosing Golden Crown. I love this place and now I have another reason to choose them in the future. AMAZING...
