I don't what these people rating 4* are looking for, this place is awesome. My burrito was so impressive I had to take a close up with a Splenda packet for reference. I wasn't sure about the shrimp in the mix, but it was amazing. The chipotle sauce on top was incredible. It came out on a sizzler, so the cheese on the bottom got 'burnt' so there was "crusty cheese" with every bite. So good. We will definitely be coming back to try the Agave Volcano Bowl, but at least I already found one thing on the menu that I would come back again and again for.
And not for nothing, their made-fresh-daily salsa is the best I've ever had at a restaurant.
So I've been back several times now, and after that second trip where I got the Volcano Bowl, I haven't had anything else. It's AMAZING! The flavors packed in there are something else. Even the chicken blew me away. You can easily share this with someone, but you won't be sorry having the leftovers for the next day if you get it for yourself. You will need to order extra tortillas though, they only give you 3 taco sized ones for that...
Read moreMy fiance and I came here for a Friday lunch! We were greeted at the table with chips and salsa and our ONE waiter was phenomenal! I understand being short staffed right now and this man was on top of everything! The Jalapeño and spicy mango margaritas were nice and strong (like I like) and the jalepeño poppers were ON POINT! Although, the marinara was different than I'm use to, it was still delicious! Onto the entrees... He got the Trio Enchiladas (cheese, beef and chicken) and he said they were GREAT! I got the Al Pastor Tacos and they were right up my alley, with the pineapple and cilantro. They were so good and I was excited to have saved some for later 😉 a nice buzz and tacos are always good! Then, the dessert! We ordered the Chango, which is, wrapped and deep fried cheesecake! Oh, man! This stuff was so good but, after the food, I couldn't finish much so, he did!
I would 10/10 recommend this place! I would also recommend you be patient 😁 Have a great time! 🌮🍹 Follow me on IG...
Read moreNice place, good service, great food, but overpriced. We've been coming here for years. The staff is always friendly and attentive and they serve the best Mexican food in the area. Unfortunately, they are pricing themselves out of our budget. Web sources say $10-$20 per person - never gonna happen. Dinner for two with soft drinks was over $60 after tip. No appetizers other than the chips and salsa, no dessert, no cocktails. The prices have soared over the past few years - more than other places. Example: Cheese sauce that was $0.99 just a few years ago is now $3.49. Three and a half bucks for a spoonful of topping is ridiculous. Then a surprise on the check - a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. That's something new, with no warning on the menu. We enjoyed the meal, but felt like we were price-gouged at every opportunity. Unfortunately, what used to be a regular dinner spot for us will now be a once or twice a year destination. Too bad, because we really enjoy the atmosphere...
