Arrived here after a Google search. No waiting. 3 other large parties (each 5-8 people) eating, after-church crowd, I imagine). Service was appropriate. I had bacon wrapped scallops. OMG, excellent! Wasn't actually wrapped in bacon. It was on top of the scallops, which were so tender and cooked perfectly! Amazing sauce! Hubby got the mozzarella and sauce which was also amazing! (On par with The Chophouse)
Meal served with fresh bread and olive oil (the flavor of the oil was not pronounced). Two house salads with chilled metal plates were appreciated (served like Olive Garden). No dressings except their house dressing.
For lunch, I got the Whitefish Francese. Waitress suggested I get it with angel hair pasta. Very good creamy lemon/ white wine sauce. 3 pieces of battered fish. Big portions. Hubby got Chicken Parm, as expected. We took home half our meals for leftovers.
Dining room is smaller, but accommodates large groups. Decor is dated, awkward layout. Bathroom is mostly dated (toilet wouldn't flush unless you held down the handle, Dyson blade hand air drier). Food was good. Scallops were excellent! (High end, cooked perfectly!) Food prices were higher than expected for surroundings, but everything tasted great! Good experience. Wouldn't take much to elevate this to an upscale experience.

Read moreNicolinii’s is a hidden gem. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It is suitable for a family gathering or a romantic dinner. The bread and oil are delicious. The first couple times we visited our oil was sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This last time we visited it was not sprinkled with freshly grated cheese. We were given a Parmesan cheese shaker which does not mesh well with the vibe this place gives off. I’m not sure what happened but they need to bring back the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The salad was fresh and I always enjoy their homemade dressing. My meals have always been delicious. I enjoyed the chicken francaise my first couple times eating at the restaurant. This last time I tried a special and it was delicious. I do not remember the name but it had blue cheese, chicken and portabella mushrooms. The portions are huge! I would rather have less pasta and real grated Parmesan cheese.
This last time we ate at the restaurant I was disappointed we were not able to sit at a booth because they were closed off, the patio was a mess and there is a bunch of stuff stacked in a corner leading to the patio. Also, our waitress was really abrasive. So abrasive I felt uncomfortable. Overall, our meal was delicious and we...
Read moreThey don’t seem very serious about running their business. The last 4 times I’ve tried to go there for lunch I’ve ended up having to go elsewhere. Twice I got there and there were a few cars in the parking lot and when I went inside told there was a half hour wait, because they only had one server. To make it worse if I wanted to wait, it would have to be in my car. Time before last I was told I could only get pasta with red sauce because the chef wasn’t there yet. Reluctantly we decided to try again today and when I walked in I was told I could only order certain things because the chef wasn’t there (1 PM), but they should be there in 30 minutes. I was again asked what I intended to order, which I wasn’t sure if it was worth the hassle. With all the restaurants closing due to lack of business, I wouldn’t think it wise to chase people away who are trying to support your business. Food is great, but not worth wasting the time or gas to drive there if the chef can’t show up to...
