Mad Cards and Collectables — Local services in Boardman

This has become my go-to card shop. There's a wide variety of singles to be purchased from games like Magic The Gathering, Pokémon and even Lorcana. You can shop the vast majority of their singles online via TCGplayer and then pick them up in store, or even order them in-store via a kiosk. There's adequate play space and appears to be an active community for events!

On top of all of this, there's also a bulk selection for those that like to "riffle through the trash" or are less financially endowed. You can get plenty of accessories for whatever your card game of choice might be here-- my only mark against the shop would be that they don't carry gamegenic products (that I've seen). I'm a big fan of being able to support your LGS and have found that there have been times where they may not carry a particular card that I'm looking for, but the reality is that can happen with any shop!

Given the constraints of fully supporting multiple games at this location, and how well they do support all of those titles, I can't complain about them occasionally not having a random bulk rare that I may be looking for. Very nice and friendly staff and community. One of the few places around that I've found running friendly and competitive FaB events. Definitely heading back to play and pick out some more cards. They offer a little bit of everything here from Magic, Pokémon, Flesh and Blood, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh. This store has a nice large play area for games and matches and has really good pricing competitive to other local shops. Only improvement I would love to see more of is sealed packs of cards stocked on their shelves. However I know that has been a struggle for even large chain store at the moment. Have been to this store many times. Always seems disorganized and a mess. The male kid who is just a worker has been bitter to me since I sold the owner a card and not him. I can feel his dislike of me when I walk into the store. Barely speaks, when I do ask for something it’s a quick point to the computer and I can check myself. I’m sorry to bother you while you are I guess “working”. Have had this experience several times now and yesterday was the last time I will go back.
