Ordered food for the weekend. Walking in the place was empty and they were not busy. Strange for a Friday. Food was ready and waiting when I got there. I paid and the prices were on par with other bbq places I’ve been too. I almost left without getting sauces. Gotta let em know about the sauces! Flies around the sauces kinda turned me off. The brisket looked nice. The bark was deep and crisp. The meat fell apart and the fatty bits were well rendered, they just lacked flavor. I’m unsure if the meat was seasoned at all. It’s a real shame because it’s well cooked. The sauces I got really helped. They do all the heavy lifting. Great sauces.

I also got a “crispy pork belly”. Same problem as the brisket, but poorly made as well. Lacked flavor. There was no crisp at all. Lack of seasoning. Was there even salt here? Feels like it was rehydrated while sitting in a hotbox forever.

Cheesy potatoes were good and flavorful. Well seasoned. Almost spicy.

Smoked mushrooms were nice.

I was researching looking for a caterer for our wedding next year when I stumbled upon the Youngstown BBQ Company. How have I never heard of them before now?! From the first interaction Jeremy was so hospitable, informative and accommodating. My fiancé and I went in for a tasting Thursday and all I can say is WOW! From the moment you walk in the door you instantly feel at home. Jeremy, his wife and father made the whole experience wonderful. His father had brought out food for us to try and omg we tore it up!! Everything was so flavorful and absolutely delicious. It was an immediate no brainer for us that the Youngstown BBQ Company was who we needed to cater our most special day. Jeremy checked on us multiple times and explained all the dishes/options. You can truly tell he truly takes pride in what he does and customer service is his number one priority. Youngstown bbq co. is hands down the best catering company in the area (and beyond!) my dream was to have a food truck at my wedding and they did an absolute amazing job. They are amazing people to work with! The food, oh my gosh, the food is FANTASTIC! We decided on pulled work sandwiches and chicken sandwiches with the sides as cheese potatoes and garden salad. We’ve had soooo many compliments on the food! It was definitely the high light of our wedding. They also did the grazing board during cocktail hour, it was BEAUTIFUL! The set up was gorgeous and everything was absolutely delicious. Oh! We did decide on his and her steaks. perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned

They went above and beyond for us, I recommend them to ANYONE in the Youngstown area.
