TLDR: interior makeover, cannot make up for poultry portions and sad salsa bar.
$8 for a bean rice and cheese burrito that was listed on their menu for $6? No chips with your burrito? Seems like this place is punishing non-meat eaters. For $.50 more I could’ve gotten a Kearny Asada or chicken burrito. That would have been bigger. Why are they charging premium prices for a BRC? Especially when there’s absolutely nothing to write home about it and barely any cheese? I’ve been going here since I was a kid at least getting Mexican food at this location. The salsa bar is depressing and it seems like the new management is more concerned with an aseptic interior than an authentic Mexican food experience.

Read moreI recently ate here while visiting my daughter and it was delicious. The shrimp taco on the homemade corn tortilla and the al pastor quesadilla was so yum and flavorful. The guacamole they make was fresh and creamy and I really enjoyed their avocado salsa that they provide for free in their salsa bar (I went through about 4 of them). My daughter also loved her veggie fajita plate. If I lived closer I would be here...
