Coffee Connection — Restaurant in California

Disappointed with our drinks today. The person who made our drinks was rude. He was talking loudly on his cell phone while attempting to help the customer before us . Mouthing to him instead of talking to him asking what he wanted . All the while talking to whomever it was very loud for everyone to hear. Then he proceeded to make his drink. . Didn’t wash his hands . Our turn next, and by then another guy took our Order . But the guy on cell phone made our drinks. Again, did not wash his hands prior. My order was supposed to be a blended drink . It was not . I asked him , his response was “ this is how I make it” . Then he just added a few ice cube , the lid then placed the straw into the lid , his hand touching where you sip . The other drink was made incorrectly as well . Way too sweet and not enough of the coffee and too little ice . My daughter had to dump it out! Our drinks Luke cool not cold on a very hot day . Very local, homely and comfortable; good variety of brews, small selection of baked goods as well. If you are looking for a fancy coffee shop experience, there are other places in town for that. But this place is unique; a community coffee shop, it is the kind of place you sit for a while - working, reading newspapers or just idling. It is a bit away from Downtown Ojai, so there's not much nearby - but if you're looking to get away for a bit, or just grab a nice cuppa in the morning, you would like this. Great little coffee shop with friendly staff! I’m an early bird and I was up early in Ojai riding around on my motorcycle looking at everything. Try to find a place that was open before seven. I saw this place and pulled in and I noticed that there were several locals there. Always a good sign. I went inside and I was pleased with the quaint atmosphere and the overall cleanliness of the place. The barista on duty was very friendly and pleasant.
