Was having a late dinner with family...expecting the usual good food at reasonable prices. We were in for a rude awakening! The server was an absolute delight. The kitchen however was a nightmare! We started with a perfect Margarita and to Sangria's, which weren't that bad. Ordering dinner we had the all you can eat chicken tenders and riblets w\fries and coleslaw....and chicken artichoke and broccoli alfredo pasta with garlic bread. Well the coleslaw was dry, fries were cold, chicken was old and hard, so we decided to switch to the riblets. Well, we should have stopped while we were ahead. The riblets come out, we take the first bite, and spit it right back out! It was awfulf! the meat tasted rancid The Seasoning might have been a little bad and the sauce was very lightly spread across the meat. So we just decided not to eat anymore. Meanwhile my aunt was dining on her chicken broccoli artichoke chicken pasta. you could barely tell that there was any Alfredo in this dish and the chicken taste freezer burnt from a grocery store. the garlic toast in fact was not toast at all it was not even bread it was biscuits that were toasted with garlic sprinkled on top. She could not even finish a quarter of the dish and just set it aside. the waitress was so kind and so sweet she paid for our cocktails out of her own pocket which by no means we accepted nor did we expect. We paid her back immediately, adding it back into her tip for it was not her fault she did not cook the food the fault was to blame in the kitchen and management. the manager was nice but did not seem too concerned about the situation explaining that they're just could be several reasons why the dinner went bad she comped the two chicken and riblets basket which we did not ask her to do but graciously she did. the problem here was not the service the problem here was this visit with this meal and I think it should be put into the public to be aware of the sauce and the chicken plus the quality of the meat for...
Read moreIf i could give it a 0 star rating i would!! To start, our waiter would consistently go in and out of the restaurant to hit a cigarette or just plain and simply go out there to refrain from fulfilling his job, we asked for a specific non-alcoholic speciality drink, to which the waiter made SURE the beverage could be made proper, while also bringing back a beverage with ice and syrup at the top and bottom, it was almost impossible to swallow. We took one sip and returned it to our waiter. Continuing on, the new âHot Cheetosâ boneless wings were offered for $2 with a boneless wing appetizer or entrĂ©e, we purchased a boneless wing dish to compensate the $2 Hot Cheetos boneless wings add on. We received our food, which was overall mediocre, and when the bill came back the problems arrived with it. The âSpecialtyâ beverage was still on the tab (disregarding the fact that we brought our concern to our waiters attention) they also added the âhot Cheetos dish to our tab as a separate purchase. Absolutely unbelievable. We brought this to our waiters attention, to which the rudest manager came stomping over and was not hearing a word that came out of our mouth. To begin we told him that the beverage did not taste proper, to which he completely disregarded the way we felt and explained that the reason it tasted bad was because it was meant for alcohol, as if it was our fault the beverage was not made properly! He also explained that the hot Cheetos boneless wings would no longer be a $2 add on and that we would be paying for them in full price. I am disgusted and feel completely dehumanized, This Applebee's in specific is no longer interested in the customers experience, they are interested in clocking out as quickly as possible. Ridiculous &...
Read moreWas in town for work. This was just in front of my hotel. It was easy so gave it a try. Happy Hour Special two for one on the drinks, got Margaritas on the rocks. They were quite tall and I thought I was going to sleep well. Unfortunately not even a mild buzz, wondering how little tequila was used if any? Ordered the baby back ribs, waitress said it âcomes with two side, pick any two at the bottom of the pageâ. So I did. The ribs were ok, felt like a vacuum packed rack thatâs pre-cooked and just put on the grill to add some char with some sauce for service. No smoke flavor. I was anticipating that so not really surprised. What was a surprise was when I got my bill, I had been charged for the two side extra as âpremium sidesâ. Clearly the waitress was padding the check. I asked for the manager, as I told her and him, it was never presented that as such, never even mentioned. The manager did remove from the bill but it was an unnecessary negative experience and felt underhanded on the part of the waitress. She was respectful and did not have an attitude when I brought it to her attention. Maybe itâs something theyâre instructed to do. I was surprised that in this small community with frankly very polite people this occurred. So left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed, in the tactic and lack of alcohol in my drinks. They...
