My husband and I go here quite often but the last couple of times, we've had issues with our order. Last night when we came in, we were the only two people in the restaurant. We ordered two wraps and a shareable hemp queso. When my husband said he wanted the queso, the cashier said "you want chips and salsa?" We corrected her. We paid (she did not read our order back to us) and sat down. When our meal got brought out, it was only one wrap and the queso. We thought they might still be working on it so we waited a few minutes. After that, my husband went to the counter and basically had to raise his voice to get someone's attention in the back. Turns out they never rang up one of the wraps. The other employee (who did not take our order) was super apologetic and made my wrap for free. I understand things happen but it's pretty sad when you're the only two customers.
When we went a couple of weeks ago, we had a similar experience with the same cashier. When I said I wanted pasta salad, she said "you want a chicken salad?" I corrected her. Then once we were seated and waiting, she came up and asked us if it was for here or to go. It was clear we were eating there as we already had gotten napkins and a water cup. When our food got brought out, I reminded her I had ordered a tea and she had to ask me what kind.
I really love the food here and have been a loyal customer for awhile but my last couple experiences have made me want to take a break. It is never busy when I go in so there is no reason I should have to remind employees to give me part of my order. For now, I will...
Read moreI got the Vegan Tofudilla Melt and my husband got the Baja Wrap. Both were fantastic. I was quite surprised by the vegan cheese on the Tofudilla Melt... so far I've not been a fan of the plant-based cheeses but this one was quite good. I would definitely have this melt again. The hummus was entirely without flavor. Someone should taste that and consider giving it a boost. It was very chickpea and nothing else. I make hummus all the time so I am used to it having flavor. The pitas were fantastic though. I really love that they list the calories and macros.
My only real complaint other than the hummus was that no one bothered to mark our meals. I am on a plant-based diet right now and I accidently ate a bite of ham because my husband was convinced that the tofu thing was his heh. In any case the ham was delicious but it wrecks my 2 week stride of no animal products.
Please consider marking your wraps. Next time I'll know to ask. I will definitely return for another round. It's nice that they're so close...
Read more9-12-21: We stopped in to pickup some things to go for dinner in the park. We’ve seen the store for awhile and have wanted to give it a try. My wife & I ordered the Baja and Spicy Club as wraps. We both had the hummus & pita as the side. We both thought our wraps had good flavor, but the “final assembly” was lacking. On half of our wraps there was little to no meat. On the less than stellar half, it looked like they dumped all the tomatoes into my wrap. For about $10 each they could have been put together a lot better. The hummus was okay, pita was warm and soft. So it’s kind of a mixed bag. We weren’t blown away so not sure if we’ll try it again. We really want to help the smaller businesses, but if they don’t deliver a quality product it’s hard to...
