After 1 year I thought I would try this place again. Absolutely terrible

Lunch green beans frozen and poor taste, mashed potatoes instant and obviously not made with care, dry and very bad instant taste Pork chop good. I learned .y lesson, they need a cook that has experience. Took 20 minutes to get my lunch special and only 1 other person in the restaurant

Had breakfast the pancakes were extremely flat and definitely made with day old batter not fresh. Home fries we're not fresh obviously made perhaps a day earlier also No flavor in the home price lack of seasoning. I tried the chicken fried steak here for lunch it's very good but more attention needs to be paid in the kitchen to fresh product I did not eat the pancakes but was charged for them anyways could have substituted something but they didn't chances of going back to that cafe is slim for me, I probably won't be...

Very small restaurants due to the holidays when I was there, they did not have a full stock of what is available on the menu. Prices are comparable to most other places. Food is good above anyone else not below anyone else there mistake is not what you would expect you would expect a decent thickness of a steak, but it seems today everyone wants to skimp on meat, and you end up getting paper meat for a fairly high price not outrageous but still more than what it should’ve been for the type of meat you get the clientele seem to be your decent clientele, but not the type of clientele that you see at a lot of your bigger chain restaurantsService was good. Best burger I have had in decades! I had a hamburger, hubby had a bacon cheeseburger, juicy, delish, grilled onions on the burger, toasted bun (NOT GREASY) so good! I’m a picky burger eater and this one was def a winner. We shared a side of okra that was generous enough for 3 ppl AT LEAST. It was cooked to perfection. Not over cooked or hollow, good okra pieces, not just the ends. Again, not greasy at all. It got busy right before we left and I felt bad for the waitress hustling around.
