Betty’s is truly a hidden gem in OKC and a standout in the vegan food scene. I had the pleasure of trying both the katfish platter and the chkn platter, and I honestly don’t know which one I loved more. Each bite was full of flavor, seasoned to perfection, and cooked with undeniable care and love.

The sides? Absolutely unforgettable. The yams were perfectly sweet and tender, the mashed potatoes were smooth, creamy, and simply to die for, and the Mac and cheese—rich, cheesy, and hands down exquisite. But if I had to crown a favorite, it would be the world’s best cabbage—and I don’t say that lightly. It’s truly my all-time favorite now. Perfectly seasoned, with just the right texture and flavor, it reminded me of the best home-cooked meals from my childhood.

And the desserts? I’ve tried every single one, and while each was delicious in its own right, the strawberry cake completely stole my heart. It’s moist, flavorful, and the kind of dessert that leaves a lasting impression.

Beyond the food, the energy at Betty’s is just as nourishing. The staff is impeccable—genuinely friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. Dom, the owner, greeted us with warmth and grace, and his lovely wife gave off that comforting “family” energy that’s rare to come by. The vibe in the space is calm, cozy, and inviting—truly a reflection of the love and passion poured into every aspect of the experience.

Wow!!! I came to visit my best friend from Miami Florida and did some research to find this gem. WHAT AN AMAZING VEGAN RESTAURANT WOW. People were friendly, food is some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. I’ve been plant based for 3 years now and sometimes I miss certain dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The chicken Alfredo is the best vegan Alfredo I’ve ever had. Chicken biscuits are sooooo delicious. Mac n cheese tastes delectable. Egg rolls bursts with flavor. Very generous with their portions and was very hot and fresh. Quality ingredients. Will continue to come here every time I’m in town. Great job!!! Even my 4 year old god son who is not plant based kept saying how good the food is.

Edit: so I liked Bettie’s so much that I returned days after. I was disappointed this time. The order said it would be ready at 6:45 and I was told to wait 10 more min because everything was going to be hot and fresh, so I had absolutely no problem waiting because everything was so hot and fresh days ago. It took them 25 more minutes to give me my food, but again I was ok cause I know the quality was going to be there. I finally open the food and the fries were so soggy and wet. Even sticking to the paper. The egg rolls were so soggy and cold, where last time they were hot and crispy. I had to put everything in the air fryer, which I shouldn’t have to do especially spending the money I am. The Mac n cheese and Alfredo was so cold. All food was cold. I cannot say enough GREAT things about Betty's Plant-Based Vegan Restaurant in Oklahoma City! From the moment I arrived, the experience was absolutely topnotch. The food came out piping hot and full of flavor you can taste the love and care in every bite! I could not tell it was vegan food🔥🥦🌮

What truly stood out was the owner’s impeccable customer service. She is such a delightful, upbeat, and kind young lady the kind of energy you want to be around! I had underestimated the time but she went out of her way to bring my food out to my car. That level of care and hospitality is rare and so appreciated! 🙌💚
