El Primo Loco — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Always good. Had the quesadilla this time. Pretty good. A little oily, but good. The home runners are the asada Al carbon and the proper chicken. The tacos Al pastor are good, but not out of this world. The food is fresh, which is why it's usually good. Give it a shot if you haven't. I'll probably never rate it at 5 stars since the environment isn't as... Easy on the eyes as some other places. But, given that I rate it 4 based purely on quality of food, that probably says more than anything else. Also, if you really don't give any effs about your waistline, the papas here...

Get the whole or half chicken with red sauce! I crave this sauce and will go just for it. Deliciously grilled chicken. They've gone up in price but you always get an onion with your chicken and beans, rice and tortillas. Feed the family or hog out by yourself. I've visited all Metro locations and am always met with friendly and quick service. My mouth is watering just writing this lol. Cannot say enough positive things about this great...

I like their caldo de pollo. I have it to go on their drive though, or inside. The flavor is as if they really cooked this in the country with wood. That's the best I could describe the flavor. The inside is not pretty and the bathroom is outside, the chairs are uncomfortable and the service is lacking, but I go back because it's convenient and most importantly, the flavor. I would have given it a 2 stars if I was just rating the locale...
