Super Tortas El Chavo — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

We placed an order on the restaurants website for delivery, the ordering link “single platform” pops up when you click to order online. We place the order & the card is charged for $72.

I called the restaurant to confirm that they received the order —which the employee said they did and would be delivering it in 10-15 mins.

I get a call 10 minutes later asking what payment method we used, to which I said a card, we ordered online through your restaurants webpage and I have the receipt.

The employee and then owner pretended to not know that their website has an online order link and that they only use door dash. Even after I mentioned to them several times that we ordered through their own website.

Instead of saying “we’re so sorry for the inconvenience, there is a problem with our website…etc” they completely ignored the problem at hand and proceeded to deny that they received any sort of payment even though we had the receipt & they received the order —because they made the food we ordered! They just wanted to double charge us.

I've been here twice now and both times was truly a delicious experience. On my first visit, I had a Milanesa torta. For those who don't know what a torta, it's basically a Mexican sandwich with beans, avocado, lettuce, may and meat on a toasted bread.

The tortas here are the size of your head. The sandwiches were served hot and my milanesa was very tender and easy to chew. There was no way to finish it all.

On my second visit, my Mom got the Cubano (which should be called the kitchen sink). I opted for steak asada taco and two gorditas - pork and bean and cheese.

Do not use the website linked to this business! I used it to place an order and was charged up front…when I went to pick up said order they said it was a scam website and they don’t use the website. I explained it already charged me and it’s hooked up to their google page and asked if they were aware of said issue? Their response was “yeah we get 1-2 people a month”! So they know it’s an issue but do nothing to fix it! Now I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to hopefully get it disputed. Bad business! They had nothing to offer to help fix the issue no apologies nothing! Something tells me they know it’s a scam and they have some hand in it.
