I came here yesterday and ordered 4 bánh mì, 2 each for me and my fiancé; each was extremely reasonably priced at $6 a sandwich. After receiving them I realized 2 was definitely overkill as these sandwiches were huge, at $6 a piece!!! We have tried almost every bánh mì shop in Moore with this being one of the last to try, so we have a wide base to judge from. This place easily has the best bánh mì we have ever tried in the state! The owner actually went in at the same time as me and held the door. He was kind and hilarious, he was joking with me and other customers the whole time I was waiting. He explained that he is the only shop that prepares the bánh mì fresh in the front, along with any fresh pressed sugar cane or other drinks, to hold up the standard that his restaurant is clean and the food is fresh. I can attest to that, not a speck of dirt or cold food in sight! They lovingly packed each sandwich in front of me with meat and pickles and cilantro and wrapped them tight, labelling each one. He also threw in free pork and shrimp eggrolls that were DELICIOUS!
For us, any bánh mì is a good one, like how any pizza is good pizza. These sandwiches were flavorful, not just from the toppings but the actual meats on each sandwich were seasoned perfectly, but they're definitely not shy with the pickled carrots and daikon or the cilantro! The jalapeños definitely were spicy. I usually add some extra kewpie to my bánh mì but this one didn't need any, it was perfect. The bread had good bite and chew but was not too crusty like other places can be. Everything about these bánh mì, from the top to the bottom, was very likely the best sandwiches I've ever eaten in my lifetime. We will definitely become...

The whole thing was absolute perfection. Bread was fresh, so soft and light inside and crisp (without any threat of top palate destruction) outside. The veggies were the perfect pickle, not overdone, but standing out just right. My kid had the veggie and stated without blinking, "This is the hands-down best Bahn Mi I've ever had". She does not waste her praise. Personally, I had the pork... All hail that pig; they were seasoned, sauced, and seered into something remarkable. All put together in just the right balance to let you savor each ingredient. Absolutely stellar. We also had the spring rolls, which were damn fine, if I do say so. The whole time I had my eye on the stew, it smelled amazing, and I will be back for that. Bevy: I didn't look up which invaders brought coffee to Vietnam, but I have a feeling it was a rot-gut Marine. I had a milk coffee - was outstanding. I'll have to keep an eye out for chest hairs.

Read moreMy husband and I went to KT’s this week for the first time. We wanted to try a variety so we ordered a fried pork sandwich, a fried chicken sandwich, a pork steamed bun, and 2 desserts (one was a milk cake made from camels milk and the other was a red velvet cream cake. Let me tell you, we can’t wait to go back! The sandwiches - the bread tastes homemade, the veggies were so crisp and fresh, the meat flavored wonderfully. Whatever sauce was on it just pulled it all together. I’ve always wanted to try a steamed bun and holy cow I didn’t know what I was missing! Geez - the bun is a bread like we’ve never experienced. It was filled with pork and a hard boiled egg. The BREAD! Unreal. The desserts - the camels milk cake was sent from heaven - that’s just all I can say about it. The red velvet was also so light and spongy - literally spongy and had a lovely cream in the middle. Go, run to KT’s! (But...
