Mariscos La Costa is truly one of the last standing Mexican restaurants in the area who's quality has not plummeted. This is one spot that Anthony Bourdain somehow has managed to miss, at his own peril. I drove past this little hole in the wall one day and decided to give it a go. The first thing I noticed was that the place was full and all of the patrons were local Mexicans, which is usually a sign that you're in for some good food. I tried the fajitas, which came to $14 but thats no more expensive than Ted's or some other overrated chain. I fancy myself somewhat of a fajita connoisseur and these reminded me of the food I had in Mexico. If you ask me, this is the best spot in the city for Mexican food. Everything is super fresh and very high quality. You're going to spend $12-15 on a meal, but you're getting massive portions. You're really getting two meals worth of food and then some. We showed up with about 25+ people and we got in quickly all of our orders were bought promptly! We went to Buffalo wild wings the night before with only 5 ppl and it took over 2hrs for wings!!
