Louie's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Have been to this location many times and had good service this time was a little different. My kids and I went in a few days ago. Werent greeted but oh well we sat ourselves. Our waitress came up a few minutes later and didn't seem too friendly. (Hispanic girl ombre hair brown at the top blonder at the bottom. Glasses, and a white bow in hair. ) she got our drink order.. After we got our drinks about 5minutes into being there she came to ask if we were ready. I told her for the most part yes but we were trying to decide our appetizer. So needed a few more minutes. She left.. Well 15 or so minutes later (That's being nice.)goes by I see her around our tables asking others how they are doing but she never came to ask us for our orders.. Another few minutes go by and some of the people who came in after us have there apps. Finally braedon comes thru. Amd asked if we are ready. I explain the situation and say I didn't know if she was gonna come back. He said she was about to get off.. So pretty much our table was handed of to him.. I understand she was leaving soon but let your customers know. I'm fine with the lol extra wait and switch just thought it was rude. Besides the fact she wasn't the friendliest anyway.. We all have bad days I understand. Point It would have been fine if she would have let us know. We sat almost 20 mins with no service. Braedon saved the day. He was pretty attentive and others had came in while I was there to request him specifically Overall it was good .. Foods always good.well the pizza is bomb!!! Customer service might lack In some places but ...

Food was as good as usual, standard franchise fare. Our issue was the UNcustomer service we received. The bartender, named Smoke1 was our issue. (She never bothered to give us her real name). She was unprofessional, short/clipped, on the rude side, etc., you get my point. We were ladies out for Sunday Funday/lunch and only when our male friend arrived and sat with us did her demeanor change. She actually smiled at him, was very approachable with him. Blew the ladies'minds. Not sure if she has a problem with women or simply thinks men tip better. Because I know better, I added to the tip that our gentleman visitor left for her, not because she deserved it, but because I have tended bar before.

It's disappointing and discouraging to see this type of stereotypical behavior from a fellow woman, especially one in customer service. Did I mention that she was very friendly with the single men sitting at the bar vs being friendly with everyone in the bar?

We went out to Louie's and the waitress was all over it! She was nice to all of my kids, and my wife was impressed. Waitress kept topping the kids water up to 3/4 because she said she knows they like to spill it, and if they're not full to the brim then kids wear a little less. We normally have to ask for that or make it happen ourselves. We never ran out of anything and she was by a lot to check on us.

I've been trying to make an effort to provide feedback on the positive interactions with businesses, so on my way out I popped by the manager to say what an awesome time we had and how great our waitress was. He was kind of busy so I didn't bore him with it, just a quick rundown.

Afterwards, I went out to bring the car around while my wife paid. The manager gave my wife a little coupon for our next visit, and came by the car as we were loading the kids up to shake my hand and say thanks for...
