Sicilian Pizza — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I went in at lunch ordered a calzone for my family. I had never tried theirs before. Mabe I should have asked how “dark /done” they fix them ? After the lady delivered to my table I went up to the man working “owner” and politely told him how over done it was . . He said , “ Mam I’m sorry I have no control over oven!” .. ?? ( my thought to myself was … Seems odd you aren’t able to control oven) , but he hastily said he would remake it . I was glad and totally fine with that ….UP UNTIL he said OH I REMEMBER YOU uh huh … wait .. what’s that supposed to mean ? I believe he was trying to insult me in front of 2 customers … Sir women in America are entitled to their opinions and are not considered subservients to men we will not placate them or be made to feel inferior to them. I kept my cool although I had several things I would have like to have said but I quickly got my refund .. ( I’ll be checking my account to make sure 🤞). The calzone was baked way over done ( think burnt biscuits) I thumped it😂) . This seems to be the attitude he operates his business because he got so offended that I should just shut up and ”gnaw” on the burnt calzone . Btw I just read ALL OF customers review’s comments and they say basically same thing how poor their awful the food was and his attitude he operates with. I also wanted to mention I had to play “musical booths “ to find a clean one. 🥴. Initially I came in and asked if it was even open for business. ,not 1 car in parking lot , place was dark , dirty with greasy dusty booths that should have been a big sign. We ended up getting a calzone at All American pizza and it was delicious! Stay away...

Went to Sicilian Pizza today for lunch. Sicilian Pizza is a pizza buffet with fried chicken. I didn’t partake of the chicken though it did look as though many of the patrons were gobbling it up. To be honest, I struggled a bit with the rating for Sicilian Pizza. 3.5 stars is probably the right call. The pizza is decent. I think it would be generous to say it is the best in OKC as a number of reviewers stated. The quality of the pizza was good. The selection wasn’t the best but we got there before the rush. The selection improved as it got busier. Another reviewer commented that the salad bar is passable. I’m not sure I agree. It didn’t contain the usual salad bar faire, like croutons, bacon bits, sunflower seeds, etc. I was a little perplexed that to-go cups cost extra. If you think about this logically, I can get a to go cup and the table turns over quicker or I can stay and drink more and hold on to the table longer – and possibly eat more pizza. New lunch venue for me. Located in strip mall off memorial road. Tried it for the first time because they offered Gyro's. Gyro's are one of my favorite foods to consume while I am traveling. Entered the resturaunt was greeted by a friendly gentleman who seemed to be in charge of the eatery. Told him it was my first time and I wanted to try the Gyro's plate. He took me to a table told me to relax brought me my water and told me my meal would be ready in about 10 minutes because I had taken the french fries. Right at about 10 minutes he brought my food out fresh and presented extremly well. The fries were of a cooked to order golden brown the pita bread gyro meat and all the fixins were fresh as advertised. The sauces and ketchup was equally as fresh. I enjoyed my meal.
